The World No 3 talent is now gunning for his fifth Grand Slam final appearance, with his lone Grand Slam victory coming in the 2021 edition of the U.S. Open.

Alcaraz and Medvedev have faced one another twice throughout their singles careers, with each man winning one match apiece. Alcaraz recently defeated Medvedev at Indian Wells earlier this year en route to winning that entire tournament. However, it was Medvedev who drew first blood in their budding rivalry, which just so happened to be a straight-sets win at the All England Club during the second round of their Wimbledon clash back in 2021.
