Arizona Cardinals 2022 NFL Draft Best First-Round Targets
Outside of Kyler Murray expressing some passive-aggressive frustrations about his own team, the Arizona Cardinals have had a pretty quiet offseason. In turn, having the 23rd-overall pick in the 2022 NFL Draft isn’t very encouraging for the Cards. Then again, they already have a handful of stars on the roster and a key defensive upgrade or two, particularly at cornerback, may be more than enough to get a ton of value and upside at the upcoming draft.
Nitrobetting is ready to equip its bettors with the latest news, futures NFL odds, and special features for the duration of the 2022 NFL offseason. This time, let’s examine the best first-round prospects that the Arizona Cardinals may strongly consider picking up at the upcoming 2022 NFL Draft.

Andrew Booth Jr. – Clemson (CB)
The likes of Sauce Gardner And Derek Stingley Jr. will be the most sought-after cornerbacks on the market, which means the Cardinals will likely end up with someone else like Clemson’s Andrew Booth Jr. with the 23rd-overall pick. Booth has great footwork that will come in handy against the league’s craftier wideouts, and Tigers fans will never forget the first-team All-SEC selection’s one-handed pick against Virginia in 2020 as a taste of his NFL highlight reels to come.
Kaiir Elam – Florida (CB)
Another standout corner from the Southeastern Conference that the Cardinals should consider is Kaiir Elam out of Florida. Elam has an optimal 6-foot-2 frame that translates well in the NFL’s defensive backfields. However, the 20-year-old from Riviera Beach did commit seven penalties during his final year as a Gator, which may have hurt his stock a bit entering the draft.
Bernhard Raimann – Central Michigan (OT)
Should neither Elam nor Booth seem appealing to the Cards, they could still certainly retool their offensive line instead to quell some of Kyler Murray’s demands from the front office. That being said, Central Michigan’s Bernhard Raimann will be a hot commodity in the middle-to-late stages of the first round. The Austrian tackle allowed only 10 QB pressures in his final season, as well as not a single pressure in each of his last six starts for the Chippewas.
