Cardinals QB Kyler Murray Chances to Win 2024 NFL MVP
Murray sat on the bench for most of 2023. When Kyler did play, it was in spots, and he didn’t play great. The so-so stats, 1,799 yards and a 10-to-5 TD to INT ratio, were expected considering Murray didn’t have much to throw to and the offensive line was okay but not great.
Jonah Williams, Will Hernandez, and Evan Brown are new members of a rebuilt offensive line. If the trio gel with left tackle Paris Johnson, the line will give Murray time to either find a rushing lane or throw to rookie Marvin Harrison Jr.
Kyler shouldn’t win NFL MVP. But if you want to back a flyer, or you’re an Arizona fan, the +5000 odds make Murray playable.

When Murray got to throw to Larry Fitzgerlad and DeAndre Hopkins, fireworks were a daily occurrence in Arizona games. Harrison Jr. has Hopkins-like ability. He’s not on the Fitzgerald level, not yet anyhow, but he does have skills similar to DeAndre.
Murray to Harrison Jr. could be a massive thing this season, which is why Marvin offers such a sparse number to win NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year. But Harrison has mass competition for the award, including other wide receiver like Malik Nabers in New York and Xavier Worth in Kansas City. We can’t suggest backing Marvin Harrison Jr. to win rookie of the year.

The Cardinals offer excellent odds to upset the San Francisco 419ers and Los Angeles Rams and win the NFC West. But those two clubs have Super Bowl talent. The Cardinals don’t have Super Bowl talent. The Cardinals won’t win the NFC West.

It’s going to be tough for Arizona to make the playoffs. Murray must bounce back with a spectacular season and his top target will be a rookie.
Not only that, but the Cardinals’ defense must step it up in a division where they play against Brock Purdy and the 49ers and Matthew Stafford and the Rams. Then there’s the Lions, Packers, Cowboys, Saints, Falcons, Buccaneers, and Eagles to deal with. Arizona won’t win the NFC.
