Why Bet on the Chicago Bears?
The Bears are 2-2 following a 24-14 victory against the Lions last Sunday. If they beat Las Vegas, they get a better hold of the second spot in the NFC North and even have a chance at topping the division before Week 6.
In their most recent performance, Justin Fields recorded 209 yards with an interception on 11-of-17 passing. He helped his team take the 14-point lead after the half. Darnell Mooney led the receiving unit with 125 yards on 5 receptions. Although the Bears failed to score any receiving touchdowns, they made up for it in their rushing plays. David Montgomery achieved a team-high 106 yards and 2 touchdowns on 23 carries. Damien Williams was the other player who produced a rushing touchdown after 55 yards and 8 carries. Williams is a player to watch as he could take the bulk of the carries with Montgomery out due to injury.
Going over the defense, Alec Ogletree led his team with 12 tackles (10 solo). The team had a field day and produced a total of 4 sacks that night, courtesy of Roquan Smith, Robert Quinn, Trevis Gipson, and Khalil Mack. Ultimately, the side did well to hold back the Lions from closing the gap.
Three players are on the questionable list for this Sunday’s game. Quarterback Andy Dalton is still dealing with a knee injury, while left defensive end Akiem Hicks and safety Tashaun Gipson Sr. picked up a groin and a hamstring injury, respectively. All three players were also out of the starting lineup in Week 4, but head coach Matt Nagy did well to perform the necessary changes and make sure that his side remains competitive.
Why Bet on the Las Vegas Raiders?
The hosts just broke their three-game winning streak following a 28-14 defeat to the Chargers in Week 4. There’s a tight race in the AFC West right now, with three teams, including the Raiders, sharing identical 3-1 records.
In their most recent outing, Raiders went scoreless in three of four quarters of the game. It was easy to tell that they were under pressure the entire time. They fell behind in total yards, total plays, and total rushing yards. Nevertheless, Derek Carr finished the game with 196 yards 2 touchdowns, and an interception on 21-of-34 passing.
The receiving corps was led by Henry Ruggs III, who had 60 yards and 3 receptions. Additionally, the duo of Darren Waller and Hunter Renfrow combined for 95 yards and 1 touchdown each before leaving the game.
On defense, Cory Littleton and Denzel Perryman produced 12 tackles (8 solo) each. It was a busy night for the linebackers, but they had the help of Amik Robertson who had 7 tackles (6 solo) and Jonathan Abram with 8 tackles (4 solo). Darius Philon also pulled off 2 successful sacks to go with 3 tackles (2 solo).
It’s going to be a complete starting lineup for the Raiders this weekend with the exception of Trayvon Mullen Jr. At this time, the left cornerback is having foot problems that leave him questionable for Sunday’s game. However, the Raiders still have the advantage over their opponents coming into the contest.

Bears vs. Raiders Expert Betting Predictions
The Bears have to step up their game if they want to challenge a healthy Raiders team. More than that, playing the away team adds to the pressure. While covering the spread is doable, a win is only possible if they fire on all cylinders from the get-go. On the other hand, the Raiders are eager to bounce back from their Week 4 loss. It’s going to be a straightforward game for head coach Jon Gruden and company, but they cannot afford to let their guard down once the Bears start to build momentum.
