Why bet on the Toronto Blue Jays?

For the second straight game, the Toronto Blue Jays were on the losing end of a one-run decision. They’re now on a three-game losing streak and are currently five games behind the New York Yankees in the AL East standings following Tuesday’s 6-5 loss in The Bronx.

The Puerto Rican starter allowed just four runs in 19.2 innings of work over his last three outings prior to that loss.

The 30-year-old righty’s last start was on May 3 against the very same Blue Jays, allowing just five hits and one run to go with four strikeouts in six full innings of action.

With that in mind, the Blue Jays’ chances of splitting their two-game road swing against the Yanks are better than it appears on paper, not to mention better returns as underdogs should they indeed pull off the upset on Wednesday.
