Cissokho vs. Mbenge – H Arena, Nantes, France (ESPN+)
- When: Saturday, Dec. 17, 2022. 2:00pm ET.
Souleymane Cissokho vs. Tulani Mbenge
15-0 Souleymane Cissokho has knocked out 9 of his opponents. Cissokho won via unanimous decision in his last, a 10-round bout versus Robert Valenzuela Jr.
Tulani Mbenge has a nice 19-1 record. Mbenge has knocked out his last three opponents. All three stoppages occurred before the fourth round.
Mbenge has 15 knockouts in his 19 wins. But the last time he fought a boxer on Cissokho’s level, Tulani lost via unanimous decision, which means this bout should go over the total rounds.

Rivera and Martin will bring undefeated records into the ring. Rivera is 24-0 with 14 stoppage wins.
Martin is 16-0 with 12 knockout or technical knockout wins. Both these guys have terrific skills, but both also have flaws.
Martin’s ability to get inside should be key. If Frank can get inside of Rivera’s long arms, his better inside game should allow the chalk to punch his way to a victory.

Steve Robinson vs. Nick Campbell
5-1 Steve Robinson is a big underdog versus 5-0 Nick Campbell. Robinson has some power. He’s stopped 3 of his opponents before the final bell.
Campbell has 4 technical knockout victories and a straight up knockout win to his credit. Robinson, whose loss came against an 0-1 fighter in February, won’t last past the second.

Dan Azeez vs. Rocky Fielding // Commonwealth, British Light Heavyweight Title
Azeez versus Fielding should be a terrific fight. The underdog in this has a very good 30-2 record. Fielding’s last loss came in 2018 and it came against Canelo Alvarez.
Since the loss, Rocky beat Abdallah Paziwapazi via second round knockout, Emmanuel Danso via technical referee decision, and Timo Laine via third-round technical knockout.
Azeez is 17-0 with 11 knockout or technical knockout victories. The chalk is technically sound. So much so that he gets the nod over the popular Fielding.

Chris Billam-Smith vs. Armend Xhoxhaj
The lone loss on Chris Billam-Smith’s record came way back in 2019 via Richard Riakporhe. Since then, Billam-Smith has won seven bouts.
In his last, Billam-Smith beat Isaac Chamberlain via 12-round unanimous decision in April. Chris is a huge favorite in this, which is why the best play is over or under the total rounds.
Armend Xhoxhaj is 14-2. One loss came via technical knockout and the other arrived via knockout. Xhoxhaj won his last two bouts but his opponents weren’t close to Billam-Smith’s level. Chris ends this before the fifth.
