Eggington is 34-8. Since a 2022 loss to Dan Hogan, Eggington has won 2 straight, knocking out James McCarthy and then handing 20-0 Joe Pigford his first loss via a fifth round TKO. The underdog should fight well in the early going. However, better boxers than Abe, including Joet Gonzalez, have failed to solve the riddle that is Luis Alberto Lopez. Lopez’s style is one of the most unique in boxing’s history.
If Joet couldn’t figure out LAL, Abe’s chances of figuring out Luis aren’t great. Lopez wins another, this time by late round technical knockout.
