Zak Chelli vs. Anthony Sims Jr.
Chelli will bring a terrific 12-1-1 with 6 knockout or technical knockout wins into the ring. Zak’s last loss happened back in 2019.
But although Chelli has fought great since losing to Kody Davies, he faces a tough customer in Anthony Sims Jr. on Saturday. Sims is 23-1 with 20 stoppage victories.
The favorite in this has won his last three. Sims fell to then 25-1 Roamer Alexis Angulo in 2020, but since then he’s fought great. The chalk takes this.

Based on records, Brad Pauls is an overlay at the +350 odds. The underdog in this bout is 16-0 with 9 stoppage wins.
Tyler Denny has a 15-2-3 record. So why is Denny not only the chalk but the -500 chalk, implying he has no trouble beating Pauls?
Tyler has fought the much better competition. One of the fighters Denny beat was Bradley Rea, who had a sterling 14-0 record when Denny won a unanimous decision last November.
Still, it’s difficult not to grab the odds on the dog. Pauls could be the fighter that gets it done versus Denny. The odds make Brad more than playable.

Lenier Perot vs. Viktor Vykhryst
Perot is 8-0 with 5 KO or TKO wins. The slight underdog in this definitely has some talent. But the reason he’s a dog is because on Saturday night, Perot faces one of the better active fighters from the Ukraine.
The Ukraine has become a hot bed for boxing. We can thank Vasyl Lomachenko, the Klitschko Bros, and Oleksandr Usyk for that. Viktor Vykhryst is 11-0 with 7 knockout wins. Perot will fight well. Vykhryst will fight better.

Mario Barrios vs. Jovanie Santiago
Mario Barrios heads into this hoping to right a sinking ship. Barrios had been undefeated with a fantastic 26-0 record. Mario had won 17 of those 26 bouts via stoppage.
Barrios has dropped his last couple of bouts. However, before we can designate the chalk a false favorite in this, look at who beat Mario in those last couple of bouts?
Gervonta Davis and Keith Thurman both got by Barrios. Jovanie Santiago has also lost his last two. Both of Jovanie’s losses came in 2021. The layoff should hurt Jovanie. Barrios gets the nod.

Rey Vargas vs. O’Shaquie Foster // WBC World Super Featherweight Title
Foster is 19-2 with 11 knockout or technical knockout wins. But Foster’s last loss came in 2016. So we can’t use either defeat to handicap this.
What we can do is look at Rey Vargas’ record and decide he matches up well with Foster. Vargas is 36-0 with 22 stoppage wins. Rey is one of those Mexican fighters who knows how to brawl inside or stick outside and use his jab.
This could go either way, but Vargas is more experienced and can switch up strategies mid-fight. The slight chalk is the pick.
