Why is Porto a safe bet in Game 2?

The Portuguese squad is playing their 24th Champions League campaign and looking to make it to the semifinals since the 2003-04, when they won the tournament under the guidance of Mourinho. The last two victories during the quarterfinals was during that season. It’s been a while since they’ve done something big in the tournament.

Porto heads into the matchup having lost six of the last 13 games of the tournament. Their record against English squads hasn’t been in their favor. They’ve lost in seven of the last eight games in English territory.

Chelsea vs. Porto Betting Prediction

Just considering Porto’s overall performance during the tournament, we can honestly say Chelsea is the easiest pick. Though the Blues did have a stumble not to long ago against West Brom, which ended 5-2. So Chelsea definitely can fall and fall hard.

Porto has been able to maintain their season alive, thanks to their performance against Juventus. But they haven’t done exactly that after the first leg. Their defense is one to be praised and still have a chance to prevent Chelsea from taking this win so easily. We’ll just have to wait and see if they bring the heat on Tuesday.
