Bengals QB Joe Burrow Chances to Win the 2024 NFL MVP

If Burrow can stay healthy, he’s easily one of the league’s best quarterbacks. Not only that, but Cincinnati has an easier schedule this season than in previous seasons because the Bengals had a subpar 2023.

Burrow gets to show his stuff against the Patriots, the Broncos, the Commanders, the Giants, and the Titans. Joe tends to beat the Ravens and Browns. So if you like the Bengals to bounce back, Burrow is a decent play at +1000 to win the NFL MVP.

Bengals Zac Taylor’s Chances to win 2024 NFL Coach of the Year

The odds are high because most expect Cincinnati to be a good team. So the only chance Taylor has of winning the NFL Coach of the Year award is if Burrow goes down to injury again and Taylor leads the Bengals to the playoffs.

It’s a double edge sword type of thing for Cincinnati. The odds are nice, but Taylor isn’t worth backing to win the trophy because Burrow should stay healthy behind an improved offensive line.

The Ravens are the favorite, and for good reason. Also, Pittsburgh and Cleveland will send decent teams to the field, but the Bengals look strong on both sides of the ball.

The offense kept together the wide receiver duo of Tee Higgins and Ja’Marr Chase. Zack Moss is an upgrade from Joe Mixon because he’s more of a power back, which is what Cincinnati needs to keep defenders off of Burrow.

The defense is solid. Trey Hendrickson and Sam Hubbard make for one of the top pair of defensive ends in the NFL. Backing the Bengals to win the AFC North makes sense.

Buffalo will be good, but Buffalo’s D could take a backward step this season and Josh Allen’s top target, Keon Coleman, is a rookie. Miami doesn’t appear good enough. The Ravens blew their chance last season. At +700, the Bengals have a great chance of winning the AFC Championship.

Even if Cincinnati falls to Philadelphia, Kansas City, Dallas, and the Ravens, Steelers, and Browns once, it’s 7 losses. Cincy could upset KC, Dallas, and Philly this season. They could beat the Steelers and Browns. So making the playoffs is almost a for sure thing unless Burrow suffers another injury.

The Chiefs, Cowboys, and Eagles would have to beat the Bengals. But if Burrow stays healthy, and we know, we sound like a broken record, Cincinnati should lose 5 games at the most. Go over 10.5 wins.

Cincinnati has a real good shot of securing home field advantage throughout the AFC Playoffs. The schedule suggests Cincinnati loses 5 games at the most.

The key game happens early, a September 15 NFL Week 2 game versus Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs in KC. If Cincinnati can pull off a win, they will be on the way to securing home field. At least 1 victory versus the Ravens is also a requirement. Home field should lead to the Bengals winning the AFC. So at the odds, Cincinnati is a decent pick to win the 2025 Super Bowl.
