Why Bet on the Indianapolis Colts?
After a strong 21-18 win over the Carolina Panthers to start their preseason on a positive note, the Colts are looking good before their next outing. Helping the team get their first win was Jacob Eason, who threw for 183 yards on 15 of 21 passing. Not far behind was Sam Ehlinger who threw for 155 yards on 10 of 15 passing, including an interception.
On the rushing side, Ehlinger led the Colts with 30 yards while Benny LeMay recorded 26 yards with a touchdown. Additionally, Jordan Wilkins put in 25 rushing yards and a score. Tarik Black showcased his skills with 67 receiving yards and Mike Strachan registered 57 receiving yards. All in all, the Colts were pretty efficient on the offensive side of things.
Defensively, the team did well to hold back their opponents. Isaac Rochell, Isaiah Kaufusi, and Joey Ivie filed a team-high 5 total tackles with all five of Rochell’s being solo tackles while Ivie fired up the stands with a sack. We expect the trio to do some damage, but albeit with a tougher task of guarding the more favored Vikings squad.
Why Bet on the Minnesota Vikings?
The Minnesota Vikings are out for blood after getting rushed 33-6 by the Broncos in their opening preseason game. Mike Zimmer is forced to make adjustments with his roster to get things going this time around. But several takeaways make the team look forward to its next game, including Kelly Mond’s performance. He threw for 53 yards on 6 of 16 passing. Jake Browning, on the other hand, had an interception with his 31 passing yards on 5 of 10 passing. A.J. Rose Jr. took point after rushing with 25 carries for 100 rushing yards while Ameer Abdullah put down 29 rushing yards.
Going over the defense, the Vikings showed several vulnerable spots that allowed their opponents several scoring opportunities. Nevertheless, Troy Dye and Camryn Bynum were able to take center stage on defense, each recording a team-high 7 total tackles with Dye logging 6 solo tackles. If coach Mike Zimmer finds a way to balance both units, they can grab a win in front of their home crowd.

Colts vs. Vikings Expert Betting Predictions
The Vikings now get the comfort of playing at their home stadium, which should give the team a little nudge forward. They enter the game as favorites, and if everything goes well for the team, there’s a good chance that they take this one home. However, the Colts aren’t far behind when it comes to skill. They have what it takes to cover the spread and even take the win if the quarterbacks deliver the same passing quality as they did in their last game.
