Cowboys QB Dak Prescott Chances to Win the 2024 NFL MVP

Every season, Dak posts NFL MVP type stats. In 2024, Prescott was fantastic when throwing for 4,516 yards and 36 TDs to just 9 interceptions. For some reason, though, NFL MVP voters almost never checkmark Prescott’s name.

Still, at the +2000 odds, we can’t deny Prescott’s abilities. Dak is one of the best quarterbacks in the league and the odds are tremendous. Consider backing Dak Prescott to win NFL MVP.

Cowboys WR CeeDee Lamb Chances to win the 2024 NFL Offensive Player of the Year

As long as Christian McCaffrey stays healthy, he’s the favorite to win NFL Offensive Player of the Year and is likely to do so. That doesn’t mean we shouldn’t back CeeDee Lamb.

The odds on Lamb make him a serious contender. CeeDee posted 135 catches, 1,749 yards, and 13 TD catches last season. Lamb is an incredible talent. He can dominate almost every defensive back in the league. So at +1000, CeeDee is a great pick to win NFL Defensive Player of the Year.

Cowboys DE Micah Parsons Chances to win the 2024 NFL Defensive Player of the Year

Parsons has the talent to win the award. But unlike Myles Garrett at Cleveland, Micah can struggle in the run game. The reason is because, often, defensive coaches instruct Parsons to rush the quarterback on running plays, meaning Micah runs right by the rusher.

That mistake could come up more often in 2024 because Dan Quinn took Washington’s head coaching position. Parsons will have a lot of sacks, but his solo tackles could take a backward step. Play against the NFL Defensive Player of the Year chalk to win the award.

Dallas Cowboys to Chances to Win the 2024 NFC East Division

Dallas has a tough schedule, but so does rival Philadelphia. More importantly, defenses appear to have figured out Jalen Hurts at Philly.

Defenses can’t figure out Dak Prescott because Dak is a traditional drop back passer. Washington and Giants aren’t threats to win the division. Neither is good enough to beat the Eagles or the Cowboys. Prescott and the Boys should win the NFC East.

The Cowboys are good enough to win the NFC. The issue always occurs in the playoffs when the Boys implode.

That will happen again this season. Dallas will win the NFC East, grab a decent seed, and then fail to win their first playoff game. So at the +800 odds, Dallas is a play against to win the NFC.

The odds suggest the Cowboys make the playoffs, and they should. Philadelphia will be better in 2024 than they were in 2023. But like what we explained above, defenses have figured out Jalen Hurts.

Hurts isn’t as good of a drop back passer as Dak and the Eagles don’t have a defender as talented as Micah Parsons or even DeMarcus Lawrence on their roster. Big D makes the playoffs.

Play over the win total. The schedule isn’t easy, but the Dallas Cowboys should lose 6 games or less. Detroit, Baltimore, Philadelphia once, San Francisco, and Cincinnati are the possible losses. That’s five losses. So a couple of teams would have to upset the Cowboys for Dallas to go 10-7.

Dallas Cowboys Super Bowl 49 Prediction

Although the Cowboys have enough talent to win the Super Bowl, they’re a bad play to do so. The issue the Cowboys will always have is failing to make the necessary adjustments in the playoffs to win.

The odds are decent. Still, the Boys are a play against to win the 2025 Super Bowl. Don’t waste your money when you can side with quality teams like the Bengals, Lions, Ravens, Chiefs, and 49ers.
