Max Verstappen dominated the 2022 season and comes in as the favorite to win the 2023 title. He came out on top on 15 occasions, which is the most by any driver in a year. The Dutchman, along with teammate Sergio Perez and Red Bull, topped the Constructors’ Championship last year. The dominant duo registered a success rate of 77% and is the team to beat.

Rivals Mercedes and Ferrari could bridge the gap this time. Since tumbling down the charts, the German constructor with seven-time World Champion Lewis Hamilton had difficulty coping with the brand-new car changes and regulations. The same goes for Italian constructor Ferrari, who did well earlier last year but eventually faced reliability and strategy issues.

Nevertheless, six drivers and three constructors have a solid shot at the prestigious 2023 F1 trophies. Of course, Max Verstappen and his Red Bull sit on top of the mountain. Sergio Perez wants a piece of the action but needs to be more consistent if he wants to put pressure on his teammate. Meanwhile, Charles Leclerc and Carlos Sainz at Ferrari hope to get a better car and improved tactics with first-year principal Fred Vasseur at the helm. Mercedes looks forward to an improved car as well with the duo of veteran driver Lewis Hamilton and rising star George Russell.

With that, let’s take a look at the updated Drivers’ and Constructors’ Championship odds before the season drops its first checkered flag.
