Miami almost avoided this scenario and only finished a win behind the Brooklyn Nets. Nevertheless, they get two chances to book a ticket to the 2023 NBA playoffs.

Meanwhile, Atlanta survived the past week and held onto the eighth seed despite dropping its last two games. They are tied with the Raptors’ 41-41 win-loss record but hold the better road record of the two. With that, let’s get started with the first Play-In preview.
