Colts QB Anthony Richardson Chances to Win the 2024 NFL MVP

The odds on Richardson are astronomical. Even if Richardson has fantastic season, most don’t expect him to boast numbers that make him a top contender for the NFL MVP.

But before writing Richardson off as NFL MVP, it’s important to note that he’s got the skill set to be the next Lamar Jackson. Lamar was a massive dog the season he won his first MVP. So we shouldn’t laugh off Richardson’s chances. If things break well for him, who knows? As a flyer, Richardson is a decent play to win NFL MVP.

Colts HC Shane Steichen Chances to win the 2024 NFL Coach of the Year

Shane Steichen is one of the choices to win NFL Coach of the Year. Right now, Chargers boss Jim Harbaugh is the +900 favorite. Steichen and DeMeco Ryans, who coaches the Houston Texans, another AFC South squad, are top five choices at +1400.

Steichen has a slightly better chance of winning the award than Ryans. Most expect the Texans to make the playoffs and possibly win the Super Bowl. Nobody expects the Colts to do much this season. So if Steichen leads Indy to the playoffs, he could grab the award. Shane Steichen is a decent play to win NFL Coach of the Year.

Indianapolis Colts to Chances to Win the 2024 AFC South Division

On paper, the Texans and Jaguars are better than the Colts. But Indianapolis has something going for them that Jacksonville and Houston doesn’t.

Nobody knows how good Richardson is or will be this season. The Indy quarterback is an unknown factor. Because of that, the Colts could end surprising the Jags and Texans. Backing Indianapolis to win the AFC South at +330 isn’t a bad play.

The Colts shouldn’t beat Houston, Kansas City, Buffalo, the Baltimore Ravens, or the Cincinnati Bengals and win the American Football Conference.

But although Indy shouldn’t win the AFC, it doesn’t mean they don’t have a chance. The Colts’ D is decent, the offensive line is good, and Richardson is an X factor rushing the football. There are worse 27-to-1 shots than the Colts to win the conference.
