The Bills control their destiny, as a win over the New York Jets will have them clinch the division title regardless of the Patriots’ results. However, the Jets are playing some sound football of late, making what looks to be an easy win for Buffalo on paper less likely than it really is.

Why Bet on the New York Jets?
Leave to Tom Brady to break the hearts of the New York Jets all over again. Brady led a nine-play, 93-yard game-winning drive in the final two minutes of the contest to steal a 28-2 victory from the grasps of New York.
The 4-12 Jets should still hold their heads up high after that brutal defeat against the defending champs. It was also a significant leap for rookie quarterback Zach Wilson, who completed 19 of 33 passes for 234 yards and a touchdown without an interception. Wilson has not thrown a pick in each of his last three starts after throwing nine of them in the first five weeks of his maiden NFL season. The BYU product got huge help from budding wideout Braxton Berrios, who finished with eight receptions, 77 all-purpose yards, one TD through the air and one on the ground.
Unfortunately, New York’s defense still hasn’t improved. The team has allowed an average of 30.5 points to their opponents across its four most recent defeats. That being said, the Jets would be lucky to prevent another offensive explosion from the Bills that’s similar to their 45-17 loss in MetLife to the Bills back in Week 10.
Why Bet on the Buffalo Bills?
Not even the snowy scene in Orchard Park this past week was enough to derail the Buffalo Bills, who’ve won three in a row following their 29-15 victory over the visiting Atlanta Falcons on Sunday. All the Bills need now is one last win to take home the AFC East crown for the second straight season.
In a game that saw Josh Allen go 11-of-26 for 120 passing yards and three interceptions, the Bills leaned on their run game to combat the rough weather conditions. They racked up a whopping 233 rushing yards in the process, with Allen and starting running back Devin Singletary combining for 191 rushing yards and all four of the team’s trips to the end zone (two TDs rushing apiece).
With a newfound running game to complement the team’s potent passing attack, Buffalo is in great shape to thoroughly beat down the Jets in the final game of the regular season for both sides. It also doesn’t hurt that the Bills have the league’s best defense in terms of yards allowed (286.5 YAPG) and second in points allowed (17.4 PAPG).
Jets vs. Bills Betting Trends
- The Jets are just 1-6 on the road this season (2-5 ATS).
- The Jets are 0-4 in their last four games as double-digit underdogs (2-2 ATS).
- The totals have gone over in four of New York’s last five games in general.
- The Bills are 5-3 at home this season (3-3-2 ATS).
- The Bills are 4-1 in their last five meetings against the Jets (3-2 ATS).
- The totals went under in three of those five Jets-Bills matchups.
Jets vs. Bills Expert Betting Predictions
Between the disparity in talent, chemistry, and playoff motivations, there’s simply too much working in favor of the Bills in this rematch against the Jets. On the other hand, New York head coach Robert Saleh has his team playing valiantly down the stretch as seen this past week against the Bucs. This leaves open a very high possibility for the Jets to cover the relatively wide spread as huge road dogs.
