Why Bet on the Sacramento Kings?

The second-best team in the Pacific Division begins to silence doubters. Sacramento worked its way up to the Western Conference sixth seed and a 19-16 record in recent weeks. Kevin Huerter is the only starter on the questionable list on Tuesday’s game after picking up a back injury. But, leading scorers De’Aaron Fox (23.44 PPG) and Domantas Sabonis (18.62 PPG) look primed for Tuesday night’s game.

Sacramento is hot on the offensive side with a second-best mark of 118.0 points per game. The Kings accomplish this with a 48.7% shooting percentage on top of a dominant 58.4% two-point shooting percentage. Mike Brown’s system starts to rub off on the roster as they complete 26.8 assists and score 16.0 fastbreak points per game.

Defensively, the Kings hold teams to 116.7 points per game on 48.8% shooting. They alloy 55.4% opponent two-point and 36.3% three-point shooting, which calls for improvement. However, their offensive figures seem to outweigh this side of the ball game in recent weeks. If Sacramento can replicate their performance against the Jazz last weekend, there’s a solid chance we will witness the visitors overcome the odds once again.

Why Bet on the Utah Jazz?

Utah has had a tough December. They picked up four consecutive losses last week, including three on the road. With a bit of wiggle room this time, it’s the perfect way to recover from multiple poor performances. Furthermore, the starting lineup looks healthy ahead of the game. Only Collin Sexton is on the injury list following hamstring issues.

The offense is a huge proponent of Will Hardy’s coaching style. His side pushed solid offensive figures since the start of the season, featuring 117.3 points per game on 47.1% shooting. They do particularly good from short and mid-range with a 55.5% two-point percentage and a respectable 36.7% three-point percentage. Lauri Markkanen is a significant contributor to their success with 23.75 points and 8.47 rebounds per game. Jordan Clarkson is the other talisman of the side with 20.50 points per game, while Malik Beasley, Collin Sexton, and Kelly Olynyk average double-digits in over 30 games played.

Defensively, the Jazz holds opponents to 116.6 points per game on 48.4% shooting. While they struggle to contain competitors on this end of the court, the side does particularly well when defending the arc. In 39 games played, the Northwest Division team limited teams to 34.9% from deep.

Kings vs. Jazz Expert Betting Prediction

The Kings are one of the more impressive teams in the last few weeks of 2022. They did take down some of the heavy hitters to claim the sixth seed of the Western Conference and are on track to overtake the Clippers and the Mavs if they do well in the following days. But, they have to find their footing after dropping their last outing versus the Grizzlies. The team needs to regain the momentum they built against the Jazz in their final December game. If they do that, we might see the visitors cover the spread and snatch the win. However, the Jazz won’t give this up easily with home advantage on their side this time.
