Kansas Jayhawks vs. Kansas State Wildcats

• When: Tuesday, January 17th, 2023. 7:00pm EST.
• Where: Bramlage Coliseum, Manhattan, KS

Kansas is 16-1 for a reason. Jalen Wilson has become of the nation’s top players while Dajuan Harris has turned into one of the country’s best point-guards. But the Jayhawks are just 7-10 against the spread this season.

Kansas State is 15-2 and much better ATS, going 11-6 in their 17 games. The Wildcats fell to TCU in their last. K-State should bounce back with a nice win and cover because this happens on the Wildcats’ floor.

Texas Longhorns vs. Iowa State Cyclones

• Where: James H. Hilton Coliseum, Ames, IA

Texas fired Chris Beard a couple of weeks ago. But even without their head coach, the Longhorns have found ways to win. But like Kansas, Texas is terrible against the spread.

Iowa State is 13-3 straight up and 11-5 ATS. The Cyclones are flying under the radar. So although they should step onto their court the chalk, the spread line won’t make Iowa State unplayable.

Miami Hurricanes vs. Duke Blue Devils

• Where: Cameron Indoor Stadium, Durham, NC

Miami isn’t just winning. The Hurricanes are also covering spreads. The road team in this matchup is 4-1 against the spread in their last 5 heading into the week.

In the past, playing the Blue Devils at Cameron was the recipe for a big Blue Devils win. That’s not the case this season. Duke is 13-5 overall and 1-6 ATS in their last 7 games. Miami should at least cover the spread and will warrant a look to beat the Dookies straight up.

Arizona takes on USC, a team they should have no trouble beating, earlier in the week. The Wildcats are only 1-5 ATS in their last 6. UCLA is 11-7 ATS. But this happens in Tucson so the Cats should win and cover.

Tennessee Volunteers vs. LSU Tigers

• Where: Pete Maravich Assembly Center, Baton Rouge, LA

After starting the season winning 12 of their first 13, Louisiana State has since lost 4 straight. The last loss was the worst, a 106-66 defeat to rival Alabama on Jan. 14.

Tennessee lost to Kentucky in their last. But before the loss, the Vols had been playing great basketball. LSU is at home in this, which means the Volunteers shouldn’t have to cover a massive spread. Backing the road team in this matchup will make sense.

Alabama Crimson Tide vs. Missouri Tigers

The affects of Miles’ arrest could be detrimental to how well the Tide play in this game. Not only that, but Mizzou is a quality squad.

The Tigers average 84.4 points per game. This is a Missouri home game. So even though Alabama is the better overall team, the Tigers should get it done SU and ATS.
