Illinois State Redbirds vs. Kentucky Wildcats

No doubt, Kentucky is going to be a massive favorite. Backing the Wildcats may not be the best move, though. The Illinois State Redbirds are 8-4 straight up and 6-4-1 against the spread.

The Redbirds are 5-1 against the spread in their last 6. Kentucky should win for sure, but Illinois State figures to keep any loss to within the number.

San Diego State Aztecs vs. Gonzaga Bulldogs

Last season’s National Championship runner up has a terrific 10-2 straight up record. But San Diego State isn’t performing well against the spread. The Aztecs have won 3-of-10 ATS.

Gonzaga is 9-3 SU. The Zags have dropped games against Purdue, Connecticut, and Washington. Gonzaga is almost as bad against the spread as SDSU, going 4-7 this season. The Aztecs prevail ATS.

Creighton Bluejays vs. Marquette Golden Eagles

Saturday’s top matchup should be a good one. Creighton has lost 2-of-3 straight up, but when the underdog in this hits their three-point shots, few teams can hang with the Bluejays. Creighton is 0-3 against the spread in their last 3, though.

Marquette is 2-4 against the spread in their last 6. The Golden Eagles failed to cover 3 double- digit spreads and lost straight up to Providence a couple of games ago.

The Golden Eagles allow 31.3% from behind the arc. Creighton shoots 37.5%. The Bluejays lost to Villanova in overtime in their last. Expect a Creighton bounce back. Bluejays pull off the upset victory.

Wichita State Shockers vs. Kansas Jayhawks

The 8-4 Shockers are just 4-6-1 ATS this season. 4 of Wichita’s 6 ATS losses have come in their last 4, a win against Southern Illinois and losses to Missouri, South Dakota State and Kansas State.

The Jayhawks have a single straight-up loss. Kansas, though, is terrible against the spread, going 4-8 ATS overall and losing 5-of-6. The spread victory in the last 6 came against half a point versus Connecticut. Wichita State covers.

Bryant Bulldogs vs. Ole Miss Rebels

Bryant has found their footing. After 2 straight losses, Byrant has bounced back with victories over Towson and Drexel.

But although Bryant has played well, they face a tough squad in Ole Miss on Sunday. The Rebels are 12-0 straight up. Ole Miss has beaten a couple of quality teams in Memphis and NC State.

Also, even though the Rebels are 6-6 ATS overall, they’ve gone 6-1 ATS in their last 7 and 4-0 ATS in their last 4. Ole Miss takes this.

Arizona Wildcats vs. Stanford Cardinal

Stanford isn’t a good basketball team, which is why even though this game happens in Norther California on Stanford’s floor, the Arizona Wildcats are the team to back.

U-of-A has won 9 and lost 2. The Cats are also 9-2 ATS. Zona blew a 14-point first half lead against Florida Atlantic to lose in double-overtime in their last recorded game. Expect a massive effort from the Wildcats in an impressive win and cover.
