Illinois Fighting Illini vs. Tennessee Volunteers

So far, Illinois has answered the bell. The Illini show a single loss and it happened earlier in the season versus then 4 Marquette.

In their last, Illinois beat Florida Atlantic 98-89. Illinois could keep it going because on Saturday, the Illini face a reeling Vols squad. The Volunteers have lost 3 straight to Purdue, Kansas, and North Carolina. Still, although Tennessee is struggling, this takes place on their court. Give the Vols the nod.

Alabama Crimson Tide vs. Purdue Boilermakers

Alabama has a decent basketball program. The football program gets all the love, but the Tide can hoop. Bama has lost 2 of their last 4, but the games they won, they won impressively, beating Oregon 99-91 and taking down Arkansas State 89-65.

Purdue is the first opponent for Bama in a mini-murderers row. The Tide must throw down agianst Creighton and Arizona in their 2 games following the matchup against Purdue.

The Boilermakers bounced back from their loss to Northwestern with a 21-point victory over Iowa. Alabama won’t be able to stop Edey. Give the home team the edge to win and cover.

Charlotte 49ers vs. Duke Blue Devils

But although the Blue Devils are struggling, the 49ers aren’t nearly as formidable this season as they were last season. Duke gets right with a 20-point victory over Charlotte.

Oklahoma, though, is undefeated. But Arkansas is the best team the Sooners have faced this season. Backing the Hogs to pull off the upset win makes sense.
