Why is PSG a safe bet to win?
On paper, Paris Saint-Germain should have this in the bag. Neymar will play for sure but no word yet on whether Kylian Mbappe or Lionel Messi will step onto the pitch.
If both play, PSG should have no trouble protecting their home pitch with a first leg victory. If only one plays, Paris should still be tough to beat.
But if only Neymar steps onto the grass, Paris Saint-Germain could find it difficult to get by surging Bayern. This is especially true because PSG takes on Bayern after two straight losses.
Possible Line-Up
- Donnarumma
- Hakimi
- Kimpembe
- Marquinhos
- Mendes
- Pereira
- Verratti
- Messi

PSG’s Last 5
- Loss: 3-1 vs. AS Monaco
- Loss: 2-1 vs. Marseille
- Win: 2-1 vs. Toulouse
- Win: 1-3 vs. Montpellier
- Draw: 1-1 vs. Stade de Reims
Why is Bayern Munich a safe bet to win?
As of Feb. 13, Bayern has a single point lead over Union Berlin for the top spot on the Bundesliga standings. Often by this time in the soccer season, Bayern has built a massive lead over their opponents.
But this is the first time in a long time Bayern must play without Robert Lewandowski. Even with the issues, Bayern is on fire, winning their last 3.
So the question is whether Bayern is hitting their stride, or if Bayern isn’t as good this season as they were last season. Tuesday’s match versus PSG will let us know.
Possible Line-Up
- Sommer
- Upamecano
- de Ligt
- Pavard
- Goretzka
- Musiala

- Gnabry

Bayern Munich’s Last 5
- Win: 3-0 vs. VfL Bochum
- Win: 2-4 vs. VfL Wolfsburg
- Win: 0-4 vs. Mainz
- Draw: 1-1 vs. Eintracht Frankfurt
- Draw: 1-1 vs. FC Cologne
PSG vs. Bayern Munich Betting Prediction
No word yet on which star players will show up for their respective teams. PSG could be without Kylian Mbappe and Lionel Messi. But Bayern could be without Sadio Mane. Still, Bayern has won three straight: 4-0 against Mainz, 4-2 versus Wolfsburg, and 3-0 against Bochum.
For sure, Mainz, Wolfsburg, and Bochum can’t hold a candle to Paris. However, the victories by such big margins suggests Bayern has learned how to survive without Sadio.
PSG hasn’t learned how to survive without Mbappe and Messi. The two losses to Marseille and Monaco isn’t a good sign. Bayern could nab the regulation victory.
