Which quarterback offers underlay or overlay odds?
This depends on who you believe wins the game. Even in the low scoring NFC Championship, the Rams beat the 49ers 20-17, Stafford threw for 337 yards and 2 TDs. Unless the 2 TDs go to the same wide receiver, probably Cooper Kupp if it happens, Stafford will win the MVP if the Rams win the game. So if you like the Rams to beat the Bengals, Stafford offers fair odds at +120.
If you like the Bengals to beat the Rams, Burrow offer overlay odds at +225. There’s no way Cincinnati beat the Rams, heck, Cincy can’t beat anybody, unless Burrow has a good game. Don’t get us wrong. The Bengals have a decent defense. But Burrow is the reason Cincinnati wins games.
Is Cooper Kupp, Ja’Marr Chase, or Aaron Donald the better play to win Super Bowl MVP?
Kupp is a good pick because when Stafford is in trouble, he looks to Cooper. Donald is a decent play because the Bengals must also deal with Von Miller. Chase isn’t a terrible play, either.
Jalen Ramsey is likely to get the assignment on Chase. But Ramsey is listed as questionable with a shoulder issue. If Ramsey can’t go, or isn’t one-hundred percent, he won’t stop Ja’Marr. Because Chase offers the better odds, we must lean his way. But if you like the Rams to win, Kupp or Donald are both decent plays.
Name the two best plays at odds of +2800 to +3300 to win Super Bowl MVP?
Evan McPherson is one of the best kickers in the NFL. But let’s get serious. Will McPherson win Super Bowl MVP? Probably not. Von Miller, the Rams fantastic defensive end, could. So could Joe Mixon. Both Mixon and Miller will have decent enough games to secure the Lombardi Trophy. Miller might be let loose if the Bengals decide to double-team Donald. Mixon could be Joe Burrow’s top target if tight-end C.J. Uzomah can’t play, Ramsey shuts down Chase, and Tee Higgins isn’t at his best.
Is there a player to back at +4000 to +6600 odds with a legit shot to win Super Bowl MVP?
Depending on which team you believe wins the Super Bowl, Higgins, Ramsey, and Boyd are all worth a look. Higgins and Boyd have chances because Ja’Marr Chase might be more of a decoy in this game.
So if you like Cincinnati to win Super Bowl 56, do your homework and then consider taking a shot on Higgins or Boyd or both because the odds are so high. Defensive backs have won Super Bowl MVP in the past. Jalen Ramsey could grab a pick, or even two, if Burrow forces the ball to Chase, Ramsey’s likely assignment.
So if you think the Rams win Super Bowl 56, you should consider backing Jalen Ramsey to win Super Bowl MVP.
