Ilya Ivashka vs. Stanislas Wawrinka
Ivashka’s last tournament didn’t even really start. The slight underdog in this couldn’t move past the first round at the Mutua Madrid Open, losing to Albert Ramos-Vinolas via a 6-4, 6-7 (3-7), 2-6 score.
The good news if you’re looking to back Ivashka is that he lost the second via tiebreaker. If Ilya wins the tiebreaker, the match would have been his.
Stanislas Wawrinka got by Maxime Cressy in his first round match at the Mutua Madrid Open. Then Wawrinka lost in straight sets to Andrey Rublev. Wawrinka is playing at a higher level right now. Stanislas gets the nod.

Elisabetta Cocciaretto beat Barbara Strycova in the first round at the Mutua Madrid Open.
Cocciaretto lost her second round match. Davis played in the lower-level tournament, but she played well. Taking a shot on the American makes sense.
