Why Bet on the Tennessee Titans?
The Titans come off a 25-16 win against the Colts. They overpowered their opponents in total yards 368 to 265 and won the rushing game by producing almost 100 yards more than the Colts. Ryan Tannehill did an exceptional job for his team, recording 197 yards on 18-of-27 passing with 3 touchdowns and 2 interceptions. The quarterback was also second in rushing yards, producing 56 yards on 5 carries.
But, it was Derrick Henry who documented a team-high 113 rushing yards on 28 carries. As for the receiving unit, Nick Westbrook did well to run 53 yards on 4 receptions and a touchdown. The duo of Jeremy McNichols and Chester Rogers combined for 16 yards and 2 touchdowns.
Giving over the defense, the Titans relieved some of the pressure thanks to David Long, who recorded 8 tackles (5 solo). He was closely followed by Rashaan Evans with 8 tackles (4 solo) and Dane Cruikshank with 6 tackles (4 solo). Olasunkanmi Adeniyi had 4 tackles (2 solo) and produced the only solo sack of the team. Additionally, he shared a sack assist with Harold Landry.
This weekend, the Titans might miss the services of A.J. Brown. The wide receiver suffered a hamstring strain that puts him on the questionable list. Meanwhile, tight end Anthony Firkser remains sidelined with a knee injury as Geoff Swaim takes his place as TE1 until he fully recovers.
Why Bet on the New York Jets?
It was a disastrous weekend for the Jets after leaving the field scoreless against the Broncos. In their losing efforts, Zach Wilson was able to throw for 160 yards on 19-of-35 passing and collect 2 interceptions. Corey Davis tapped the receiving end with 41 yards and 2 carries, while the trio of Keelan Cole, Braxton Berrios, and Elijah Moore combined for 78 yards. The Jets failed to make an impact on their rushing plays as well, ending the night with 43 total rushing yards.
Defensively, Marcus Maye led the Jets and had 9 tackles (7 solo) by the end of his stint. Quincy Williams did well to secure 6 solo tackles, while Brandin Echols was third on the list with 5 solo tackles. Quinnen Williams was the only player who recorded a solo sack and shared a sack assist with Bryce Huff. Although both sides struggled to make an impact during the game, they have to keep fighting to find their stride before everything is too late.
The Jets’ offense takes a hit this weekend as we find Elijah Moore and Tyler Kroft on the questionable list due to a concussion protocol and rib injury, respectively. Jeff Smith is anticipated to take over if the wide receiver position is left open, while Ryan Griffin is in line to take over the tight end should Kroft fail to recover.

Titans vs. Jets Expert Betting Predictions
This is going to be another rough night for the Jets, and the team needs to grab every opportunity they can to try and cover the spread. Winning might be a stretch, but having a home-field advantage brings them closer to that result. Nonetheless, the Titans are the superior team here. They remain the favorites and hold the better momentum of the two. Both teams go through speed bumps in the form of injuries, but the Titans have more depth in their squad in terms of skill and consistency. At the end of the day, we get to witness an interesting matchup between the Titans and the Jets.
