Malik Willis – Liberty (QB)

Is Carson Wentz really the answer for Washington? Wentz has yet to prove himself as a quarterback who can stay healthy and handle immense pressure, so perhaps the Commanders reach out for top QB prospect Malik Willis to give Wentz some competition. With a massive arm and great wheels to boot, head coach Ron Rivera could have his next Cam Newton ready to take the league by storm in short time.

Zion Johnson – Boston College (OT)

Like most teams in this year’s draft, Washington is in dire need of support on the offensive line. Unless the Commanders trade up for the bigger names in the top 10, they’d best take a shot at senior guard Zion Johnson out of Boston College. Johnson is a first-team All-American and All-ACC selection who allowed just six QB pressures in his final year in BC and will be a nice addition to Washington’s pass-protection line regardless of who’s under center.

Tyler Linderbaum – Iowa (C)

Speaking of centers, Washington currently have both sixth-round pick Chase Roullier and undrafted journeyman Tyler Larsen on the injury list as their starting possible starting centers to date. That being said, Iowa’s Tyler Linderbaum is another upgrade in the O-line that the team should highly consider. Linderbaum is a generational talent at his position, having finished with Pro Football Focus’ best grade amongst all FBS centers in back-to-back seasons.

Updated Washington Commanders 2022 NFL Futures Odds

As of this writing, the Commanders are priced at +5,000 to win Super Bowl 57. They are tied for the fifth-worst odds in the NFL alongside two other rebuilding NFC franchises in the Carolina Panthers and the Seattle Seahawks. Although, Washington does have rather respectable odds of (+375) to win the division title over in the relatively mediocre NFC East.
