Fenway Bowl // Cincinnati Bearcats vs. Louisville Cardinals
- When: Saturday, December 17, 2022. 11am EST
- College Football Odds: Louisville -1.5 // Cincinnati +1.5
There’s a lot of drama in this game. Scott Satterfield took the head coaching job at Cincinnati after Luke Fickell decided to go to Wisconsin. But Louisville’s cool with it because they have been targeting Purdue’s Jeff Brohm for years. Brohm finally decided to accept Louisville’s offer.
When it comes to the game, there’s no getting around the fact the Cardinals will have the most dynamic player on the field in Malik Cunningham. Cincinnati is a quality team. However, stopping Malik from doing his thing won’t happen.

Lending Tree Bowl // Rice Owls vs. Southern Miss Golden Eagles
- When: Saturday, December 17, 2022. 11am EST
- College Football Odds: Rice -6.5 // Southern Miss +6.5
Few college football handicappers are looking at Rice versus Southern Miss. That could be a mistake.
Southern Miss might be one of the clearest bowl cover plays of the season. Up to October 29, Rice had been playing way above it’s talent-level. But then starting in late October, the Owls began to fail SU and ATS. Southern Miss turned it on towards the end of the season. As long as the line remains under 7, the Golden Eagles are an overlay.

Myrtle Beach Bowl // Marshall Thundering Herd vs. Connecticut Huskies
- When: Monday, December 19, 2022. 2:30pm EST
- College Football Odds: Marshall -10.5 // Connecticut +10.5
Marshall is a massive underlay. The Thundering Herd are better than Connecticut. But the Huskies are 7-1 ATS in their last 8.
Connecticut covered versus Liberty, Boston College, and Fresno State. In addition, Jim Mora will have the winter dogs fired up.

Famous Idaho Potato Bowl // Eastern Michigan Eagles vs. San Jose State Spartans
- When: Tuesday, December 20, 2022. 3:30pm EST
- College Football Odds: Eastern Michigan +3.5 // San Jose State -3.5
San Jose State has a terrific defense. The Spartans allow 20.3 points. But as good as the defense is, SJSU’s offense has let it down, at least it has let it down when it comes to covering spreads. West Coast Sparty is 0-6 ATS in their last 6.
Eastern Michigan is 4-0-1 ATS in their last 5. The Spartan’s defense will do what it can but at the end of the day, the Eagles’ offense gives E. Michigan the win.

Boca Raton Bowl // Liberty Flames vs. Toledo Rockets
- When: Tuesday, December 20, 2022. 7:30pm EST
- College Football Odds: Liberty +5.5 // Toledo -4.5
Liberty lost coach Hugh Freeze to Auburn, which might be the reason the Rockets are over 3- point favorites. Without their head coach, most expect Liberty, no pun intended, to flame out in their bowl game.
But Liberty is still the team that averaged 28.3 points during the regular season and went 8-4 SU. Ah, but then again, Liberty ended their regular season losing 3 straight and the losses weren’t agianst great teams. Toledo covers.

- When: Wednesday, December 21, 2022. 9:00pm EST
- College Football Odds: Western Kentucky +7.5 // South Alabama -7.5
