Who Has the Best Chance to Win?

The two teams that are giving much to talk about are Mercedes and Red Bull. For Red Bull, their performance has been fairly consistent and reliable. This was shown during the pre-season tests. In the case of Mercedes, they were lacking stability and reliability became another issue, which isn’t very common from this team to do that.

Max Verstappen is Red Bull’s top choice and the current favorite in the 2021 Bahrain GP odds at +137. In the case of the reining Drivers’ Champion Lewis Hamilton, he’s at +162 in the F1 odds. Although Hamilton has won this race before many times, the fact that Mercedes has been having performance issues puts these odds in Red Bull’s favor. Though not a guarantee to win, there’s no doubt it will give a push for Verstappen.

Who Has Control of the Midfield?

If there’s a team you have to keep an eye out for, it’s Mclaren. Their work on their rear diffuser has worked marvelously, making it the most prepared F1 car on the track with a Mercedes engine.

Looking at last year’s results, the team ended as the third constructor. They’ve upgraded their engines from Renault to Mercedes and they’ve also added Daniel Ricciardo to their line up.

Their top driver is Lando Norris, who currently stands at +4000 to win the 2021 Bahrain Grand Prix. He has done quite well at this track, placing in fourth last season. During 2020, he claimed six top five finishes, a bronze in Austria and hasn’t gone lower than sixth place at Bahrain.

Which Teams Should You Avoid?

Aston Martin will seem to have problems, as Sebastian Vettel has said he doesn’t have many laps run to be fully prepared this season. So they will definitely have a tough time getting in line with the other teams and drivers.

We have to mention Mercedes again. Yes, Hamilton is the champ and the favorite. But he’s been having a tough time getting ready. Plus, it was uncertain if he would remain in Mercedes.

2021 Bahrain Grand Prix Betting Prediction

The clear choice to pick is Verstappen. He’s been having a good preseason and he’s coming in with momentum. Hamilton, on the other hand, still has his doubts with the machine. If Mercedes is able to get their car ready for action, we might see Hamilton take the win and kick off the season on the right foot.
