Im hasn’t played well in his last three tournaments. There are excuses. There’s no shame in missing the cut at the U.S. Open. The last couple of tournaments played were over European style links courses, the Genesis Open and The Open Championship. So Sungjae Im missing the cut at both The Renaissance Club and at St. Andrews makes sense.

Im didn’t tee off at the 2021 3M Open. But if we go back to the Memorial in early June, Sungjae played well enough to finish a tied tenth. He can win, and the odds are fair.
