Ryan Blaney

2022 Goodyear 400 Odds: +1200

Blaney is a good target for anyone looking for rewarding picks. The 27-year-old driver for Team Penske already bagged a win this season and holds fifth place in the NASCAR Cup Series standings. Despite struggling early in the season and a 30th place finish in the Daytona 500, he recovered weeks later with a fifth-place finish at Las Vegas.

Two Weeks after the solid showing, Blaney scored a fifth Cup Series victory at the Folds Of Honor QuikTrip 500 at Atlanta. Blaney has experience leading Darlington as well, finishing third in the 2019 Xfinity Series. This experience should play to this advantage on Sunday, which makes him a solid sleeper pick in the Goodyear 400 race.

William Byron

2022 Goodyear 400 Odds: +1200

Sitting in third place so far this season with 353 points, Byron looks to bounce back and deliver better results after his 22nd-place finish at Dover in the last race. Byron is yet to finish in the top ten in three starts, but the last time he sneaked in the frontrunners list, he won the 2022 Blue-Emu Maximum Pain Relief 400 at Martinsville Speedway.

Erik Jones

2022 Goodyear 400 Odds: +4000

Making his way to the sleeper picks list is Erik Jones. After a tenth-place performance in the DuraMAX Drydene 400 at Dover Motor Speedway, Jones hopes to keep the momentum going and get a shot at a better finish this weekend. Before racing at Dover, he finished sixth in the 2022 GEICO 500 at Talladega Superspeedway. Jones has an admirable record when racing at Darlington.

Although he failed to finish his last race after facing engine problems in the 2021 Cook Out Southern 500, he was on pace to join the pack before recording the DNF. Jones secured four top-five finishes in eight NASCAR Cup Series appearances, including a Bojangles’ Southern 500 victory in 2019.
