The 2022 NFL season is slowly winding down, and so too are our Nitro NFL Survivor Pools. There were only a handful of upsets that happened on the gridiron this week, which translated to a relatively tame week for survivor eliminations. However, that still didn’t stop the football gods from awarding yet another winner in one of our eight buy-in pools that began play at the very start of the season.

Another Survivor Pool Bites the Dust
Nitrobetting continues its season-long quest of delivering the best NFL survivor experience on the web with its Nitro NFL Survivor Pool contests with a total purse worth over 10.73 BTC (~$170,000) across eight unique survivor pools. Save for the Giants losing at home to the Lions and the Rams’ continued downfall from Super Bowl grace, it was a rather calm going in Week 11. The Eagles nearly suffered an upset in Indy but hung on to a one-point lead to beat the Colts, saving many survivor campaigns in the process. However, there were a few casualties as well for those who picked the Jets to snap their cursed run against the Patriots, as well as the Vikings’ stunning blowout loss in Minny at the hands of the Cowboys. Out of the 27 remaining survivors across our eight buy-in Nitro Survivor Pools, only four players were eliminated in the aftermath of Week 11’s action, with all four eliminations coming from the three pools with the lowest buy-in amounts and the most populated pools to date. Half of those four eliminations occurred in our Draftee Pool with only three left standing after Week 10. In turn, we’d like to congratulate Nitrobetting user ID 199913 for coming out on top as the lone survivor of our Draftee Pool and taking home the grand prize of 118.25 mBTC (~$1,870) all to themselves! Only five of our eight buy-in Nitro Survivor Pools are left for the taking and we expect another round of tense battles on the gridiron that could decide the outcome of these five pools in Week 12. NFL Survivor Picks for Week 12
Four of the AFC’s top contenders make for solid survivor locks in Week 12 as each of them has a favorable matchup on the horizon, so we hope that you’ve kept these aces up your sleeves this late into your survivor campaign. Kansas City is a whopping (-14.5) favorite to beat the freefalling Rams in Arrowhead, while the Dolphins have an easy task at home as well as (-12) favorites against the bottom-dwelling Texans. And even though the Lions are hot off a superb win this past Sunday and have won three straight games, they’re still seen as heavy (+9) underdogs at home facing the Bills up next. However, Buffalo could be in for yet another trap game on the road given how volatile Josh Allen’s season has been. That being said, perhaps Baltimore is a more ideal and likely available survivor lock this week. The Ravens, winners of four straight contests and leaders of the AFC North, travel to Duval to take on the Jaguars. Jacksonville is well-rested coming off the bye, which is why the team is seen as merely (+4) home dogs. Then again, Lamar Jackson and Co. are on a roll to make them another viable survivor pick in Week 12; the Jags’ 1-6 record over their last seven outings notwithstanding.
