Exactly what sort of havoc did Week 6 cause and who’s still alive from the aftermath?

Nitrobetting is ready to equip its bettors with the latest news, odds, and special features for the entire duration of the 2022 NFL season. This time, let’s take a closer look at what transpired in the intense Week 6 action of the 2022 Nitro NFL Survivor Pools campaign.

2022 Nitro NFL Survivor Pools: Week 6 Recap

Another Alarming Apocalypse

Nitrobetting continues its season-long quest of delivering the best NFL survivor experience on the web with its Nitro NFL Survivor Pool contests with a total purse worth over 10,730 mBTC (~$210,000) across eight unique survivor pools.

For the first time in the Matt LaFleur era in Green Bay, the Packers suffered back-to-back losses and are now looking more like a mediocre ballclub than a proven playoff contender. That’s also back-to-back weeks that Aaron Rodgers and Co. let down their survivor supporters, who are now out of the picture following the Packers’ home upset at the hands of the fired-up New York Jets.

Green Bay wasn’t the only letdown in Week 6, as several teams suffered huge upsets just the same. The Tampa Bay Buccaneers, San Francisco 49ers, Baltimore Ravens, and Arizona Cardinals each suffered relatively shocking defeats despite being favorites to win entering the week. Even the Monday Night Football matchup lost by the Denver Broncos in overtime added a few more casualties in the wake of Week 6’s action.

That being said, it’s not looking pretty over in our buy-in Nitro NFL survivor pools right now. There are merely two survivors remaining in our big-money Nitro Pool down from 48 entries at the start of the season. The next-highest-tiered pool, our Hall of Fame Pool, saw a mass exodus of 26 survivors after Week 5 to just five left standing with over 80 percent of its survivors having suddenly vanished.

A little over half of the survivor population from each survivor pool had been eliminated from contention this past week. Not one pool has more than 40 survivors left in it except for the Prospect Pool, which currently stands at that exactly 40 survivors right now after beginning the campaign with over 750 entrants.

Considering the massive amount of upsets that have extremely shaken up our Nitro NFL Survivor Pools this season, we’ll be sending an olive branch of sorts for the fallen survivors. Stay tuned here on Nitrobetting News for more information on our upcoming survivor promos and offerings amidst what’s been the most challenging NFL survivor season in recent memory.

NFL Survivor Picks for Week 7

Let’s stray away from the Packers in Week 7 even though they have a winnable road matchup against the lowly Washington Commanders this week seeing that something’s definitely not right in Cheesehead Country. The Buccaneers, however, and despite coming off a brutal road loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers, have a better get-right matchup on tap to warrant consideration as a possible survivor lock. Tom Brady and the Bucs are (-10.5) road favorites in their trip to Carolina to take on a Panthers team widely regarded as the worst team in the NFC right now.

A couple of other games are appealing for survivor purposes as well. The rising New England Patriots are currently (-7.5) favorites to win in Foxborough against the visiting and struggling Chicago Bears. Elsewhere, the Las Vegas Raiders are fresh off a bye and will host the Houston Texans as similar (-7.5) home favorites to win in Week 7. Houston, like Carolina, is considered the worst team in its conference. Now’s probably the only time that the Raiders will provide decent survivor value all season long; four close defeats in their first five games notwithstanding.
