Cooper Kupp
- 2022 NFL OPOY Award Odds: +900
After posting mind-boggling numbers of 145 catches, 1,947 receiving yards, and 16 receiving touchdowns last season, it stands to reason that reigning NFL Offensive Player of the Year Cooper Kupp is the consensus favorite to win the award yet again in 2022. Kupp became the first receiver since 2005 to finish a season with the receiving triple crown by leading all receivers in those three aforementioned stats. The Rams are also more determined to win than ever in their quest for back-to-back Super Bowl victories to further boost the 29-year-old phenom’s odds as well.
Deebo Samuel
- 2022 NFL OPOY Award Odds: +1200
The Rams’ fellow division rivals in the Bay Area also have an imposing weapon on their roster, as the 49ers’ Deebo Samuel is coming off a magnificent 2021 season of his own. Samuel did it all for San Fran’s offense as a flex-back option, which led to the former South Carolina standout finishing with 77 catches for over 1,400 yards and six receiving TDs whilst also carrying the ball 59 times for 365 rushing yards and eight more scores on the ground. Another strong showing of two-way offense from Samuel could very well win him the 2022 NFL OPOY award when all is said and done.
Davante Adams

The Raiders are committed to rebuilding off of their rather surprising playoff appearance last season and they broke the bank by signing former Packers deep threat Davante Adams this offseason. In three of the last four years, Adams finished with over 1,300 receiving yards and now fewer than 11 TD catches. He did see a downgrade from Aaron Rodgers to Derek Carr, though, which is why he’s but a sneaky sleeper candidate to win the 2022 NFL Offensive Player of the Year award instead of his status as a perennial favorite during his peak in Green Bay.
Justin Jefferson
- 2022 NFL OPOY Award Odds: +1430
After an already strong debut showing in 2020 with over 1,400 receiving yards, Justin Jefferson further made his case as the best receiver in all of football the following year. Jefferson’s 1,616 receiving yards ranked second only behind Kupp last season, and his 108 receptions were also good enough for fourth overall in the league. The Vikings live and die by their terrific passing game with the former first-round pick out of LSU making Kirk Cousins’ life way easier every week.
Ja’Marr Chase
- 2022 NFL OPOY Award Odds: +3300
Speaking of amazing rookies from the Bayou, Cincinnati’s Ja’Marr Chase made quite a splash during his own maiden NFL campaign from last season in a reunion with his former LSU teammate Joe Burrow. The young 22-year-old star took home the 2021 NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year award after posting 81 catches for 1,455 receiving yards (fourth in the NFL) and 13 touchdown catches (third overall). That OROY award is an accolade that not even Jefferson was able to win in his first year in the big leagues, making Chase just as attractive of a dark horse pick to take home yet another individual hardware at the end of the 2022 NFL season.
