Quarterback

Kenny Pickett – Steelers

  • Pct. Owned: 8.0%

Rookie Pittsburgh quarterback Kenny Pickett sat out Week 15 due to a concussion but will likely be ready to go for his team’s Week 16 clash against Las Vegas. The Steelers host the Raiders in primetime this Sunday as (-2.5) home favorites to date. Vegas has allowed the fourth-most passing yards to opposing quarterbacks this season, which makes Pickett a viable Week 16 streaming QB option in very deep fantasy leagues.

Running Back

Tyler Allgeier – Falcons

  • Pct. Owned: 33.5%

Speaking of rookies, Atlanta running back Tyler Allgeier had a day to remember this past Sunday after securing his first 100-yard rushing performance as a pro. The BYU product finished with 139 rushing yards and a rushing touchdown on 17 carries against the Saints, as he looks to take over the Falcons’ starting RB job for good. Allgeier has at least 50 rushing yards in each of his last four starts, and his floor of fantasy production is stable enough to warrant him at least a bench spot in a fantasy roster the rest of the way.

Marlon Mack – Broncos

  • Pct. Owned: 6.1%

It might be a little too late for Denver’s offense to finally get it going, but it’s never too late to take a flyer on journeyman back Marlon Mack. the former Colts starting back has been a boon for a Broncos offense that’s now scored over 20 points in consecutive games for the first time this whole season. Mack found the end zone this past week and now has back-to-back outings of 15 fantasy points in PPR leagues, making him one of the more attractive free agents of the week for such league formats.

Wide Receiver

K.J. Osborn – Vikings

  • Pct. Owned: 2.7%

Every game is a thrill ride for Skol Nation, as the Vikings continue to deliver heart-pounding, high-scoring affairs. The biggest benefactor from Minnesota’s situation happens to be third-string wide receiver K.J. Osborn, who’s now scored two receiving TDs in the last two games. Osborn even finished with new career-highs of 16 targets, 10 catches, and 157 receiving yards this past Sunday in Minny’s miraculous comeback win over the Colts. He also has a decent fantasy playoff stretch the rest of the way with matchups against mediocre pass defenses from the Giants, Packers, and Bears.

Rashid Shaheed – Saints

  • Pct. Owned: 0.8%

Another rookie looking to close out his debut campaign strong is New Orleans wideout Rashid Shaheed, who broke loose for 95 receiving yards and a long TD catch in Week 15 versus the Falcons. The undrafted product out of Weber State was a kick return specialist back in college but has since been quite the reliable weapon for an ailing Saints offense. Shahid has a total of seven receptions and 170 receiving yards in his last two starts and we expect the Saints to keep feeding the youngster given how limited their options in the passing game are.

Tight End

Jordan Akins – Texans

  • Pct. Owned: 0.6%

Even though the Texans are tanking to keep a firm grasp of the No. 1-overall pick in the 2023 NFL Draft, there’s still some fight in them as seen with their close losses to powerhouse teams like the Cowboys and Chiefs. 30-year-old tight end Jordan Akins is one of Houston’s players to have delivered of late, as the former UCF standout has scored a touchdown in two of his last four starts and has at least five targets in three of the last four. The Texans are currently (+7) road dogs in their upcoming divisional showdown against the Titans, yet Tennessee has allowed the third-most fantasy points to TEs this season thus far.
