After a brutal three-week stretch to start things out, the 2022 NFL season was kinder to our Nitro Survivor Pools in Week 4. However, not everyone was spared from the axe of elimination this past week. How many survivors are left standing after four weeks of action?
Nitrobetting is ready to equip its bettors with the latest news, odds, and special features for the entire duration of the 2022 NFL season. This time, let’s take a closer look at what transpired in the intense Week 4 action of the 2022 Nitro NFL Survivor Pools campaign.
2022 Nitro NFL Survivor Pools: Week 4 Recap
Not Entirely Safe from the Savagery
Nitrobetting continues its season-long quest of delivering the best NFL survivor experience on the web with its Nitro NFL Survivor Pool contests with a total purse worth over 10,730 mBTC (~$209,000) across eight unique survivor pools. All things considered, Week 4 was relatively tame in the upset department. However, there still were several casualties in our survivor pools no thanks to losses by the three B’s that had identical 2-1 records heading into the week: the Browns, Broncos, and Buccaneers. The huge blowout home victory by the Niners on Monday Night Football also dealt the Rams’ backers in Week 4 an early elimination. The defending Super Bowl champs have lost four straight games on the Niners’ home turf, which is a fascinating stat to consider in future survivor seasons. Note to self: avoid taking the Rams at San Fran and the Colts at Jacksonville in 2023. What’s concerning in terms of our survivor pools’ headcount, though, is that the high-rolling Nitro Pool might not even make it to the midway point of the season. There are only six survivors left in the Nitro Pool, which is exactly one-eighth of the population of 48 entries in that pool at the start of the season. Less than 20 percent of the next-highest-tiered MVP Pool’s survivors are still in the game as well, as the pool that began with 104 survivors is now whittled down to just 19 strong. Perhaps the pool that’s had it the worst, meanwhile, is our lowest-tiered buy-in pool, the Prospect Pool. Close to 30 participants failed to make the cut in Week 4, as the Prospect Pool joins the rest of the Nitro NFL Survivor Pool population with double-digit survivors, down from 120 survivors in Week 3. It goes to show that nobody is safe even though Week 4 wasn’t as chaotic as the three weeks that preceded it. Here’s how the 2022 Nitro NFL Survivor Pool landscape looks after Week 4:[table id=19 /]
