Brooks Koepka

Injuries have halted any sort of momentum that Brooks Koepka would’ve wanted to head into Brookline, and his disappointing showings from The Masters (cut) and the PGA Championship (T55) are evidence of his recent downfall. Then again, let’s not forget that Koepka is a back-to-back US Open champion from 2017 to 2018 whilst also finishing within the top 25 in seven of his last eight starts in this particular major.

Cameron Young

Despite a lackluster T60 finish at the Memorial, Cameron Young remains one of the hottest young golfers this PGA TOUR season. The 25-year-old out of Scarborough went T3-T2-T3 prior to his stumble at the Memorial, including a strong T3 showing at the PGA Championship. Young has been on the cusp of winning his first PGA TOUR event on three occasions this season already with three T2 finishes, as the leading candidate for the Rookie of the Year award makes a compelling case for himself as a superb sleeper pick to win in Brookline this week.

Corey Conners

No Canadian has ever won the US Open, but Corey Conners could very well break that trend as one of the more consistent players in the field. Conners is a top-30 golfer who’s had six finishes of T13 or better in his last 10 starts. The pride of Listowel, Ontario also owns a 70.4 percent greens-in-regulation percentage, which is good enough for fourth overall on the TOUR this season to complement his balanced results.
