Ty Gibbs

Cole Custer

Custer is yet to score points in the playoffs. In 30 starts this season, he managed to finish within the top ten on three occasions. It’s been a tough year for him with seven DNFs so far. However, he managed to make his way into the playoffs for a shot at glory.
The young driver shows plenty of promise. Since joining the top-flight division of NASCAR, he managed a win at the 2020 Quaker State 400 and 12 top-ten finishes. The No. 41 Ford Mustang driver for Stewart-Haas racing also scored his first and only pole position of his career at Bush’s Beans Qualifying hosted in Bristol Motor Speedway. At 24 years old, Custer has a long way ahead of him. If the 2020 NASCAR Cup Series Rookie of the Year can acclimate himself to a more intense playoff phase, we might see him cause trouble in front of the pack as a sleeper pick.
