Top Pick to win the 2023 NFL Interceptions Leader
Super Bowl winner Matthew Stafford’s abilities have begun to decline. Last season, an injury riddled one that kept him on the bench for most games, ended with 10 touchdowns and 8 picks.
If Staff stays healthy this season, he should lead the league in picks. The Rams quarterback plays behind a bad offensive line, maybe the worst in the NFL, and has a single receiver, Cooper Kupp, to go to. Things aren’t looking good in Inglewood.
Second Pick to win the 2023 NFL Interceptions Leader
Dak Prescott has a real shot of leading the league in interceptions. Prescott, like Stafford, didn’t have a healthy 2022 season. But he did end up throwing 15 interceptions to 23 touchdowns.
Prescott is supposedly working on lowering the picks. But part of his game is to be aggressive. So if he stays aggressive, Dak figures to be close to the leader in interceptions if not surpass our top pick.
Third Pick to win the 2023 NFL Interceptions Leader
We’re not as high on Jordan Love leading the league in interceptions as much as some others. Jordan could surprise big time this season.
Then again, he’s taking over for a legend in Aaron Rodgers. So Love may be out to prove himself. Sometimes, that kicks a quarterback in the rear. We’ve chosen Love third because we have faith. But if you don’t agree, pulling the trigger makes sense.
Top Underdog to win the 2023 NFL Interceptions Leader
Geno Smith threw just 11 interceptions last season. 2022 was Smith’s first at Seattle. So there’s a reason to believe he ends up having a backward step season.
Defensive coordinators will pour over film of Smith from last season. It could work out to Geno’s disadvantage, which is why GS is the top underdog pick to lead the league in picks.
2023 NFL Sacks Leader Odds
Last update on July 25th, 2023- Cleveland – Myles Garrett +600
- San Francisco – Nick Bosa +750
- Dallas – Micah Parsons +750
- Pittsburgh – T.J. Watt +750
- Philadelphia – Hassan Reddick +1600
- Las Vegas – Maxx Crosby +2000
- Rams – Aaron Donald +2000
- Cincinnati – Trey Hendrickson +2500
- Carolina – Brian Burns +3000
- Minnesota – Danielle Hunter +3000
- Detroit – Aidan Hutchinson +3000
Top Pick to win the 2023 NFL Sacks Leader
The only reason Nick Bosa is the pick over Myles Garrett is because of odds. Okay. That’s not the only reason.
The 49ers signed fantastic defensive tackle Javon Hargrave away from the Philadelphia Eagles. Hargrave plays next to Drake Jackson, meaning San Francisco’s opponents will have to decide to double Hargrave or double Bosa. So there’s a chance Nick scores more than the 18.5 sacks he did from last season.
Second Pick to win the 2023 NFL Sacks Leader
T.J. Watt had just 5.5 sacks last season but T.J.’s season was marred by injury. In fact, he made appearances in just 10 games and for almost every single game, he wasn’t one-hundred percent.
When Watt is healthy, he’s a monster sack specialist. Steelers coach Mike Tomlin will devise strategies to unleash T.J. this season.
Third Pick to win the 2023 NFL Sacks Leader
Myles Garrett is a sack monster for sure. He sacked quarterbacks 16 times last season. But the Browns defense, overall, isn’t great.
Also, the odds make Garrett the chalk. So we can’t endorse on top. However, if you believe Cleveland’s D picks it up this season, Garrett will see fewer double teams, which could lead to more sacks than any other player in the NFL.
Top Underdog to win the 2023 NFL Sacks Leader
Rookie linebacker Jack Campbell could free up Aiden Hutchinson to produce many more sacks than he did in his rookie season. The former Michigan Wolverine had 9.5 sacks and 3 interceptions last season.
He’s excellent at falling back and into zone coverage. With Campbell roaming the middle, opponents may try to play Hutchinson straight up in the passing game, which might give Aidan a leg up in the sack department. At 30-to-1, Adian represents the best underdog on the board.
