Detroit Lions vs. Baltimore Ravens
- When: Sunday, October 22nd, 2023. 1:00pm EST.
- Where: M&T Bank Stadium, Baltimore, MD
- NFL Odds: Lions (+142) // Ravens (-172)
The Ravens are the chalk because not only do the Edgar Allan Poes throw down against the Lions on their field, but Baltimore also boasts one of the top defenses in the league.
So it makes sense why the Ravens are the favorites. However, Baltimore is a run first team and the Lions rank first against the rush, allowing less than 65 yards per game. Detroit wins straight up.

Cleveland Browns vs. Indianapolis Colts
- When: Sunday, October 22nd, 2023. 1:00pm EST.
- Where: Lucas Oil Stadium, Indianapolis, IN
- NFL Odds: Browns (-127) // Colts (+108)
There’s a chance P.J. Walker starts. If P.J. starts, the Browns should struggle to move the football against a good Colts’ defense.
For sure Indy is going to have trouble moving the football against Myles Garrett and the Browns D. But the Colts are at home. The road dog is worth backing at the ML odds.
2023 NFL Week 7 Pick: Indianapolis Colts
Pittsburgh Steelers vs. Los Angeles Rams
- When: Sunday, October 22nd, 2023. 4:05pm EST.
- Where: SoFi Stadium, Inglewood, CA
- NFL Odds: Steelers (+143) // Rams (-172)
The Steelers take on the Rams after their bye. So although the Los Angeles Rams have a great offense, Pittsburgh should have a plan to neutralize either Cooper Kupp, Kyren Williams, or Puka Nacua.
No doubt, that plan involves freeing up T.J. Watt to get into Matthew Stafford’s face. Staff isn’t the most mobile QB in the league and age has slowed him down even further. The Steelers are a great pick to get the SU win.
2023 NFL Week 7 Pick: Pittsburgh Steelers
Las Vegas Raiders vs. Chicago Bears
- When: Sunday, October 22nd, 2023. 1:00pm EST.
- Where: Soldier Field, Chicago, IL
- NFL Odds: Raiders (-159) // Bears (+135)
It’s tough to go against the Raiders in this. The main reason is because if Jimmy Garoppolo can’t go, and he may not due to a shoulder injury, Vegas can turn to veteran Brian Hoyer or Purdue rookie Aidan O’Connell.
The Bears’ backup is rookie Tyson Bagent. But this happens at Soldier Field. Also, Bagent, even though he threw a pick in the loss to the Vikings, completed over 71% of his passes.
So if Chicago can get the rushing attack going, and the offense is simple for Bagent to run, who knows? At the ML odds, the Bears are worth backing.
2023 NFL Week 7 Pick: Chicago Bears
Atlanta Falcons vs. Tampa Bay Buccaneers
- When: Sunday, October 22nd, 2023. 1:00pm EST.
- Where: Raymond James Stadium, Tampa, FL
- NFL Odds: Falcons (+121) // Buccaneers (-145)
The Buccaneers got somewhat exposed in the loss to the Detroit Lions. Granted, the Lions are one of the top teams in the NFL.
But the Buccaneers played Detroit at home. Atlanta is at home on Sunday. The Falcons had a shot to at least go for a tie against Washington in the waning seconds.
A Desmond Ridder pick, which made sense because Ridder had to make a play, was Atlanta’s undoing. The ATL should bounce back with a decent game. Falcons win.

Green Bay Packers vs. Denver Broncos
- When: Sunday, October 22nd, 2023. 4:25pm EST.
- Where: Empower Field at Mile High, Denver, CO
- NFL Odds: Packers (-120) // Broncos (+103)
Denver showed more heart in their loss to Kansas City in NFL Week 6 than they had in any other game this season.
The Broncos have as much talent as the Packers. If Sean Payton has gotten his squad to gel, Denver should win this.
2023 NFL Week 7 Pick: Denver Broncos
Miami Dolphins vs. Philadelphia Eagles
- When: Sunday, October 22nd, 2023. 8:20pm EST.
- Where: Lincoln Financial Field, Philadelphia, PA
- NFL Odds: Dolphins (+2.5) // Eagles (-2.5)
Philadelphia Eagles star right tackle Lane Johnson may not play in this. That will benefit the Miami defense.
What will benefit the Dolphins offense is that cornerback Darius Slay is questionable, and free safety Reed Blankenship is questionable. Slay’s and Blankenship’s backups, Bradley Roby and Sidney Brown, also list as questionable.
Even if Slay and Blankenship or Brown and Roby play, Tua should have a field day. The Dolphins torch healthy secondaries. So Miami at +112 is the best money line pick of NFL Week 7.
