Novak Djokovic vs. Taylor Fritz

Fritz struggled big time in his Round 1 match. America’s top hope for an Australian Open title required 5 sets to beat Facundo Diaz Acosta. After getting by Acosta, Fritz settled down, moving past Hugo Gaston in straight sets and beating Fabian Marozsan after dropping the first set.

In his last, Fritz upset 7-seed Stefanos Tsitsipas. Beating Novak Djokovic is a taller task. Like he does in most tournaments, Djokovic has gotten better with every match. In his last, Djoker bested Adrian Mannarino 6-0, 6-0, 6-3. Lay the games on tennis’s GOAT.

Not only is Jannik Sinner one of the favorites to win a major title this year, but Rublev should be tired after requiring 5 sets and 2 tiebreakers to get by 10-Alex De Minaur in the fourth round.
