Then after Gauff throws down with Kostyuk, Aryna Sabalenka, the highest-rated women’s player left at the Aussie Open, battles Barbora Krejcikova a -5.5 favorite. Marta Kostyuk vs. Coco Gauff

Ukrainian-born Marta Kostyuk has already left an impression. The 21-year-old beat Claire Lu in the first round and then upset Elise Mertens in the second. Victories over Elina Avanesyan and Maria Timofeeva followed.
Kostyuk played her best match at the Australian Open in the win over Timofeeva. On Monday night, though, the underdog in this takes on a dialed in Coco Gauff. Cori beat both Alycia Parks and Magdalena Frech in straight sets in the third and fourth rounds. Coco hasn’t lost more than 2 games in any set in her last couple of matches. Lay the games on Gauff.

Barbora Krejcikova vs. Aryna Sabalenka

9-seed Barbora Krejcikova is playing terrific tennis. Krejcikova beat Mai Hontama, Tamara Korpatsch, Storm Hunter, and Miira Andreeva to stamp her ticket to the quarterfinals.
However, although Krejcikova has played great, she lost the first set to Hontama, Hunter, and Andreeva. That’s not a good sign for the underdog going up against 2-seed Aryana Sabalenka. The favorite in this has lost 11 games in 4 matches. Sabalenka has yet to lose a set. Aryna covers the -5.5.

Anna Kalinskaya vs. Qinwen Zheng

Rising star Qinwen Zheng hasn’t had the easiest of trips to the Aussie Open quarters. Zheng required 3 sets to get by Ashlyn Krueger in the first round. In Round 3, versus Wang Yafan, Zheng beat Yafan after 4 sets and a tiebreaker.
Anna Kalinskaya got by Slone Stephens after losing the first set in a tiebreaker. Then in the fourth round, Kalinskaya beat 26-seed Jasmine Paolini in straight sets 6-4 and 6-2. Kalinskaya offers a fair payout to provide the upset victory.

Linda Noskova vs. Dayana Yastremska

Dayana Yastremska carried over her Australian Open qualifying form to the actual tournament. Yastremska hasn’t look back since upsetting 7-seed Marketa Vondrousova 6-1, 6-2 in Round 1. In her last, Yastremska beat 18-seed Victoria Azarenka 7-6 (8-6), 6-4.
The word is out on Linda Noskova. The 19-year-old rallied to upset 1-seed Iga Swiatek after losing the first set 3-6. In her Round 4 match, Noskova got up 3-0 over Elina Svitolina before the 3-seed retired.
The odds imply the chalk easily wins this. That won’t be the case. Although Noskova has the flashy victory over Swiatek, Yastremska has played the better tennis overall. Back the underdog to get it done.
