It’s impossible to look past the San Francisco 49ers. SF has played excellent football throughout the season. More importantly, Brock Purdy and his teammates have beaten their two top rivals in conference, the Dallas Cowboys and the Philadelphia Eagles, via blowout.
Not only that, but the 49rs also destroyed Jacksonville, an AFC title contender, 34-3 on the road. San Francisco is playing like one of the top teams in the NFL in the past decade. The offense is unstoppable, and the defense is playing lights out. At +150, SF is an overlay to win the NFC.
Second Pick to Win the 2024 NFC Championship
Dallas gets the nod ahead of the Philadelphia Eagles because the Cowboys have a chance to beat the Eagles on Sunday and win the NFC East. If the Boys accomplish the task, they should secure a favorable 2-seed in the playoffs.
Dallas lost to San Francisco via blowout, yes, but the game happened earlier in the season. The Cowboys are playing much better right now. So we must give Dallas a better chance against the Niners now than earlier. Still, the Boys appear to be a cut below the juggernaut that is San Francisco.

The Eagles have lost just twice this season. But although the defending conference champions show only 2 losses, the way they played against San Francisco suggests things aren’t the same in 2023 like they were in 2022.
Philly must beat the Cowboys on Sunday to ensure they win the NFC East. That could be difficult. The good news if you want to back the Eagles to win the conference is that they play the Seahawks, the Giants twice, and Arizona in their final four games. So home field is a possibility.

The 6-6 Packers may not lose another game this season. Green Bay heads into their NFL Week 14 matchup against the New York Giants winners of 4-of-5 and 3 straight.
What impresses more is that Green Bay beat three quality teams during the streak: the Los Angeles Chargers 23-20, at the Detroit Lions 29-22, and 27-19 versus the Kansas City Chiefs. Expect Green Bay to make the playoffs, which means they are one of the NFC’s better underdog plays to win the conference.
