Why Bet on the Cincinnati Bengals?
It took an extra period for the Cincinnati Bengals to get their 2021 NFL season off to a high note, escaping with a 27-24 win over the Minnesota Vikings. The best news to come out of this victory for Cincinnati is the triumphant returns of the team’s top two stars on offense in Joe Burrow and Joe Mixon.
Burrow, who suffered a season-ending knee injury in the middle of his rookie season, got back to business by completing 20 of his 27 pass attempts for 261 yards and two touchdowns. Mixon, who’s also battled with his share of injuries in 2020, ran for 127 yards and a TD on the ground. Rookie wideout Ja’Marr Chase also shined in his NFL debut and reunion with his former LSU QB, leading all Bengals receivers with 101 receiving yards and a trip to the end zone.
Chase may have been overshadowed by another newcomer to Cincy in kicker Evan McPherson, though, who drove in the game-winning field goal in OT and also connected on a 53-yarder in his first field-goal attempt in the pros. This promising start should bode well for the Bengals’ chances of winning a rare road game this coming weekend.
Why Bet on the Chicago Bears?
The Indianapolis Colts were led by newly acquired quarterback Carson Wentz. In their losing efforts, the 28-year-old was able to record 251 yards on 25 of 38 passing, including a pair of touchdowns. They outplayed the Seahawks 71 to 53 and were not far behind in total yards with 336 yards as opposed to their opponents’ 381 yards. Jonathan Taylor led the receiving end with 60 yards on 6 receptions, while Nyheim Hines documented 48 yards and 6 receptions.
Zach Pascal also had a productive night, registering 43 yards on 4 receptions and two touchdowns. Furthermore, Taylor topped the rushing side as well. The 22-year-old running back finished with 56 rushing yards on 17 carries.
It was a testing night for the team as the Seahawks’ offense imposed themselves from start to end. On defense, Khari Willis took charge and closed the game with 7 tackles (6 solo), while Bobby Okereke was not far behind with 7 tackles (5 solo). DeForest Buckner and Kenny Moore II had one sack each and combined for 9 tackles. Ultimately, if they want to overcome the Rams on Sunday night, the Colts have to do more on the defensive end.

Bengals vs. Bears Expert Betting Predictions
This is going to be another test for Indianapolis, but there’s a good chance that the team covers the spread. Getting the win might take more out of the team, but it remains within reach as long as they remain consistent on both ends of the field. Meanwhile, the Rams enjoy a strong opening night and will take it on the road as they face the Colts. With a solid lineup and good team chemistry, they enter the contest as favorites. We expect a tight game between the two packed with plenty of action.
