Although Tampa didn’t have a great season, the Bucs did just enough to win the NFC South. Will Brady and TB parlay a division victory into a wild card game win against favored Dallas? Or will the Cowboys pick it up enough to move to the divisional round.

Why Bet on the Dallas Cowboys?

Prescott is one of the most effective quarterbacks in the league. During the regular season, Dak completed over 66% of his passes and threw for 2,860 yards even though he spent a lot of time on the bench due to injury.

If there is a flaw in Dak’s game, it’s that he throws a lot of interceptions. Prescott tossed 15 picks to just 23 TDs. In this game, Dallas might hold back on calling pass plays and instead use running back Tony Pollard and Ezekiel Elliott.

Micah Parsons is a legit candidate to win the NFL Defensive Player of the Year award. Parsons scored 42 tackles, forced 3 fumbles, and had a terrific 13.5 sacks during the regular season.

He can drop back in coverage, beat double-teams, and is a great run stopper. When Parsons is on, the rest of Dallas’ defense does a terrific job.

However, the right strategy can lead to points against Big D’s defense because the secondary isn’t great.

Why Bet on the Tampa Bay Buccaneers?

If you look at overall stats, Tampa’s offense doesn’t impress at all. But if you study the week 1 victory against the Cowboys and a recent win versus the Panthers, Tom Brady and the offense could be sitting on a big game.

The terrific one blasted Carolina in week 17. Tom threw for 432 yards and 3 TDs. The win gave the Buccaneers the NFC South. So Tom didn’t have to play in week 18.

In the Buccaneers’ first game of the season, Brady thew for just 212 yards. But Dallas was so afraid of Tom that Brady kept checking down to Leonard Fournette. LF rushed for 127 yards against Dallas’ D.

Overall, Tampa’s defense played well down the stretch. To be honest, though, the best performances came against teams with bad offenses like the Cardinals, Saints, and Browns.

San Francisco scored 35 and the Bengals scored 34. Even the Panthers dropped 24 in a game where Terrific Tom had to rally the troops. Tampa’s D is going to have to step it up if the Buccaneers hope to upset the Cowboys.

On Monday night, Dallas takes on the greatest quarterback in NFL history on his field. Make no mistake, Tampa isn’t a great football team.

But we require perspective. Brady’s only goal was to lead the Buccaneers to the playoffs. Now that they made it, expect Tampa to play their best game of the season. Not only that, but Dak is shaky and Mike McCarthy doesn’t always employ the best strategy on offense. Tampa wins this straight up.
