Why Bet on the FSU Seminoles?

FSU has a much better offense this season than the one they had last season. Florida State averages 412.6 total yards per. The Seminoles average 31.3 points each game. The difference between 2020 and 2021 is at the quarterback position. Starting QB Jordan Travis averages 5.2 yards per carry.

He has a decent arm, which means he can throw the football. Although he won’t dominate with his throwing ability, Travis is good enough to where defenses must pay attention when he drops back. That often allows rushing lanes to develop.

If you ask any Clemson fan what’s the issue with this year’s team, they’ll point to the offense. Starting quarterback D.J. Uiagalelei showed flashes of brilliance last season. But Uiagalelei plays behind a new offensive line this season and that, more than anything, is the reason Clemson’s offense averages less than 177 passing yards and less than 148 rushing yards each game.

The Tigers score just 20 points per. Swinney said changes to the offense are on the way. But no matter what the head coach decides to do, unless the offensive line gels, Clemson will find it difficult to score more than their average.

Year in and year out, Clemson defensive coordinator Brett Venables is known for fielding one of the best defenses in the nation. This season is no different. The Tigers give up just 14.6 points per, ranking sixth in the nation. Opponents average just 339.1 total yards each game. Venables’ defense is the reason the Tigers have a winning record. If not for Clemson’s D, there’s a good chance the Tigers would be 2-5 instead of 4-3.
