This time around, the Jaguars will face the Buffalo Bills in a preview of a possible playoff showdown this season. Can the Jags get back to a winning record, or will it be the Bills who stay red hot?

Why Bet on the Jacksonville Jaguars?

Although far from unbeatable whenever they make their annual trip to the United Kingdom, the Jacksonville Jaguars were anointed kings of the NFL’s international scene in Week 4 after routing the Atlanta Falcons, 23-7. Jacksonville snapped its brief two-game skid as its offense found a bit more consistency.

Trevor Lawrence threw just seven incompletions out of his 30 pass attempts, finishing with 207 passing yards and a touchdown to Calvin Ridley, who’s been held quiet since busting back into the NFL scene in Week 1. The Jaguars did struggle to gain momentum on the ground, though, averaging just 3.3 yards on 30 carries against Atlanta.

On a more positive note, the Jags’ defense stepped up in London, sacking Desmond Ridder four times and forcing two Falcons turnovers. Jacksonville’s D has been middle of the pack through four weeks and will face one of the AFC’s most potent offenses in Buffalo. The Jaguars did hold the Chiefs to just 17 points in Week 2, so it’s more than possible that this unit can relatively contain the Bills’ assault on Sunday morning.

It was another clinical offensive performance for the Buffalo Bills, who blasted the Miami Dolphins out of the water, 48-20, to claim seize control of first place in the AFC East from the Fins. Over the last three weeks, Buffalo has averaged a whopping 41 points per contest and their defense hasn’t slowed down either, even against a Miami offense that hung up 70 points on the Broncos in Week 3.

Josh Allen was masterful under center, going 21-of-25 for 320 passing yards and four passing TDs with no picks. Top wideout Stefon Diggs had himself a hat trick in the end zone while hauling in six of seven targets for 120 receiving yards to put the Dolphins’ offense to shame.

With an average of just 13.8 points allowed per game to their opponents, the Bills are currently ranked second in the league in that department. Their 16 sacks are also tied for the most in the NFL along with the Chargers, and this stellar stop unit should have its way against a Jacksonville offense that has yet to reach its full potential.
