Why Bet on the Denver Nuggets?

The Nuggets did great in Game 3 and closed the night on 51.2% shooting from the field and 81.5% from the line. Despite sub-par three-point shooting at 27.8%, the visitors remained composed and held the lead from the second quarter onwards. Denver also dominated the floor in assists and rebounds, recording 58 and 28, respectively. They lit up the paint and scored 60 of their 109 points from close range.

Jamal Murray and Nikola Jokic recorded the first-ever 30-point triple-double from a duo in NBA Playoff history. The guard topped his team with 34 points on 12 of 22 shooting and seven of eight from the line. Meanwhile, the Joker put up 32 points and a team-high 21 rebounds. Both had ten assists each and played pivotal roles in the victory. Furthermore, Christian Braun added life off the bench and recorded 15 points, four rebounds, and an assist in 17 minutes of play.

Denver continues to dominate the playoffs. In 17 appearances, the Western Conference leaders averaged 115.2 points on 49.3% shooting and 36.1% from downtown. The team also records 25.9 assists and 43.9 rebounds to go with 6.9 blocks and 3.8 steals per game.

Why Bet on the Miami Heat?

Another poor shooting night got the best of Miami in their bid to take the series lead. They were right on Denver’s tail in the first half but collapsed in the second. By the final buzzer, the Heat documented 37.0% from the field and 31.4% from the line. They missed four of 19 free throws and struggled to fight for rebounds recording 15 fewer boards than their competitors. More than that, Miami struggled to move the ball around and only had 20 assists by the end of the contest.

Jimmy Butler topped the Heat’s scoring list in Game 3 with 28 points on 11 of 24 shooting and five of six from the line. He added another four assists and a pair of rebounds in 40 minutes on the floor. Meanwhile, Bam Adebayo collected boards for his squad with a team-high 17 rebounds, while Kyle Lowry recorded five assists in 30 minutes. All in all, it was a slow night for the eighth-seeded team as they tried to hold the fort against a juggernaut unit.

Miami played three games more than Denver in this year’s playoffs. In 20 games, the team averaged 110.7 points per game on 46.9% from the field and 36.4% from deep. They are the inferior rebounding team of the two with only 40.6 total boards per game, including 3.5 blocks and 7.2 steals.

  • The totals have gone under in two of the Nuggets’ last three games against the Heat.

  • The totals have gone over in four of the Heat’s last five playoff home contests.

Nuggets vs. Heat 2023 NBA Finals Game 4 Expert Betting Prediction

The Jokic-Murray duo displayed their best performance in the series. Both scored no less than 30 points and dominated both ends of the floor. Miami needs to revamp their strategy of forcing all scoring duties to Jokic after seeing Jamal light up the floor in Game 3. Denver keeps the title of the favorites for Game 4, but remember how intense this Miami squad can get when coming off a loss.

Covering the spread should be doable for the slight underdogs, but a win demands everything from this team seeing how the Nuggets bounced back last night. Ultimately, we want to see a back-and-forth between the two and an eventual Game 7 to add more spice to this already-exciting matchup.
