The latter has a chance to stretch their winning run to ten games and a chance to overtake the Denver Nuggets to claim the Western Conference top spot.

Although the Suns finished their previous campaign as the regular-season top seed, they are burdened with issues and are now on the brink of picking up another three-game losing streak. The only saving grace of Monty Williams is that one of his last two wins feature a convincing 125-108 victory over the Grizzlies.
