Top Pick to Win Super Bowl LVII

Kansas City Chiefs

For the eighth consecutive season and the fifth in the Patrick Mahomes era, the top-seeded Chiefs are in the playoffs and as huge favorites to boot. After all, this stands to reason mainly because Mahomes is on his way to winning his second league MVP award despite losing his top receiver, Tyreek Hill, during the preseason. The Buffalo Bills are not far behind Kansas City odds-wise (+380 to win Super Bowl LVII), but KC has been the most consistent team in the NFL all season long despite enduring a few scares amidst another magnificent campaign.

Second Pick to Win Super Bowl LVII

San Francisco 49ers

Despite missing out on a first-round bye to the Philadelphia Eagles, the 49ers are currently the odds-on favorite to win the Lombardi amongst all NFC teams this season. The Eagles (+505 to win SB LVII) stumbled down the final stretch of the regular season with MVP candidate Jalen Hurts suffering injury setbacks, while San Francisco went on an impressive 10-game win streak to close the season. Third-string rookie quarterback Brock Purdy continues to impress and the Niners’ defense is second-to-none, making San Fran a trendy pick to win it all this season.

Third Pick to Win Super Bowl LVII

Los Angeles Chargers

Many experts predicted the Chargers to make the next big leap this 2022 NFL season and they did just that, even against a ton of adversity in terms of roster health. Justin Herbert remains one of the most feared QBs with a cannon of an arm. On the other hand, several key pieces – wideout Mike Williams and stud edge-rusher Joey Bosa – ended up getting hurt during the regular-season finale, which is a huge blow to Los Angeles’ chances. Nevertheless, the Bolts have an explosive offense and a decent-enough defense to make a strong push as a sleeper pick to win Super Bowl 57; a feat that was recently accomplished by the neighboring Rams last year.

Underdog Picks to Win Super Bowl LVII

Tampa Bay Buccaneers

Tom Brady willed the Buccaneers to yet another postseason appearance as the 45-year-old ageless wonder defied Father Time once more. An 8-9 losing record does not make a solid case for the Buccaneers’ bid for a second Super Bowl title in three seasons. Then again, it’s undeniable that Brady’s magic is still very potent. Bettors who value luck over skill should lean toward the Bucs to stun the league again, especially if TB12 is motivated like never before and the team’s defense returns to its imposing self from the past couple of seasons.

Miami Dolphins

After a very promising start to their campaign, the Dolphins floundered down the stretch and finished 1-5 in their last six regular-season games. They needed an ugly, low-scoring win in Week 18 plus some help to even make the playoffs. Simply put, Miami’s entire offense hinges on Tua Tagovailoa, whose status is still up in the air for the Fins’ AFC Wild Card Round showdown against the Bills. It’s also sad that prolific wideouts Tyreek Hill and Jaylen Waddle are also hobbling with minor injuries entering the postseason. Thus, the Dolphins can be seen as no more than a distant longshot to run the table and become league champs this season.
