Zion Johnson – Boston College (G)

Most of Tampa Bay’s imposing defense and offensive weaponry are still intact, but the same could not be said about the team’s offensive line. In turn, the Buccaneers would be fortunate to have Zion Johnson fall on their laps with the 27th-overall pick. The 6-foot-3, 312-pound guard took a huge leap in his final year in Boston College after allowing just six QB pressures in 2021. Linemen come at a premium in this year’s NFL Draft, though, so the Bucs may have to trade up a few spots to secure a superb lineman such as Johnson.

Tyler Linderbaum – Iowa (C)

It isn’t a stretch to see the Bucs take their QB of the future with Brady likely in his real swan song of a season this year. That being said, UNC’s Sam Howell could very well be groomed as TB12’s successor in Tampa. Howell is no pure pocket-passer like Brady, but has a great knack for scoring in any given situation, racking up 53 total offensive TDs (36 passing, 17 rushing) in his final season in North Carolina.

Sam Howell – North Carolina (QB)

Johnson might not be on the board by the time the Titans get to their first-round pick, which means they may have to reach for another guard from the rookie pool. That being said, Texas A&M’s Kenyon Green could be a surprise first-round selection given how thin the guard position is at the draft. The 323-pound Green does not have the mobility that NFL linemen possess just yet, but he’s played every O-line position for the Aggies outside of center to display his versatility. Green allowed just three QB pressures over his last seven starts at TAMU.
