With Derrick Henry running the show, the Tennessee Titans have been a postseason contender for the past couple of years. David Ojabo – Michigan (EDGE)
Harold Landry needs a solid pass-rushing partner on the opposite end of the defensive line, thus making Michigan’s David Ojabo a prospect that Tennessee should have its sights set on. Ojabo doesn’t carry the same promise as other rookie edge rushers at the draft, such as Kayvon Thibodeaux or Travon Walker, but the Titans should still find the 6-foot-3 D-lineman on the board with the 26th-overall pick. Ojabo generated 37 QB pressures over his last 10 games for John Harbaugh’s Wolverines in 2021.
Zion Johnson – Boston College (G)
The loss of guard Roger Saffold to the Bills this offseason hurts, so the Titans also need to plug the hole left by Saffold on the O-line. Enter Zion Johnson, who allowed just six QB pressures in his final year at Boston College. Johnson’s best performance last season came against the vaunted Clemson defense after allowing just one pressure in 46 pass-blocking snaps, and is a relatively solid run-blocker who could pave running lanes for Henry immediately.
Kenyon Green – Texas A&M (G)
Johnson might not be on the board by the time the Titans get to their first-round pick, which means they may have to reach for another guard from the rookie pool. That being said, Texas A&M’s Kenyon Green could be a surprise first-round selection given how thin the guard position is in the draft. The 323-pound Green does not have the mobility that NFL linemen possess just yet, but he’s played every O-line position for the Aggies outside of center to display his versatility. Green allowed just three QB pressures over his last seven starts at TAMU.
